dc.description.abstract | Introducción: El virus del papiloma humano (VPH) es una de las infecciones de transmisión
sexual responsable del cáncer de cuello uterino. A nivel mundial ha incrementado el número
de casos sobre cáncer cervicouterino pese a la existencia de la vacuna lo que representa un
problema de salud pública. Perú mantiene coberturas bajas de vacunación de VPH razón por
la cual estudios sugieren realizar intervenciones educativas con los padres de familia,
cuidadores para incrementar el nivel de conocimiento y actitud sobre la vacunación del VPH.
Objetivo: Determinar el efecto de la intervención educativa en el conocimiento y actitud
frente a la vacuna del VPH en padres de familia de 4º a 6º grado de primaria de la I.E. Cecilia
Tupac Amaru, Cusco 2023
Material y Método: Estudio cuasiexperimental, longitudinal y prospectivo. El muestreo fue
no probabilístico por conveniencia. La muestra estuvo conformada por 140 padres de familia
de los cuales 70 pertenecían al grupo control y 70 al grupo experimental, se realizaron
intervenciones educativas usando el modelo HBM, la investigación fue realizado en padres
de familia de los estudiantes de cuarto, quinto y sexto del nivel primario durante los meses
de julio a noviembre del año 2023.
Resultados: Se empleo el método estadístico no paramétrico U de Mann-Whitney el cual
mostro que la diferencia entre el pre y post test fue estadísticamente significativa con un “p”
menor a 0.05 (p= 0.00) demostrando así un efecto positivo de la intervención educativa.
Conclusiones: Las intervenciones educativas son efectivas y ayudan a incrementar el nivel
de conocimiento y la actitud en padres de familia. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | Introduction: Human papillomavirus (HPV) is one of the sexually transmitted infections
responsible for cervical cancer. Worldwide, the number of cases of cervical cancer has
increased despite the existence of the vaccine, which represents a public health problem.
Peru maintains low HPV vaccination coverage, which is why studies suggest carrying out
educational interventions with parents and caregivers to increase the level of knowledge and
attitude about HPV vaccination.
