| es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | The bibliometric analysis of scientific productions on noise pollution and its effect
on Health provides a comprehensive view of the current state of research in this field
to identify gaps in knowledge, guide future research, and develop prevention
strategies, which will highlight the importance of addressing this environmental
problem from a multidisciplinary perspective. The objective of the present study was
to evaluate how scientific productions on Noise Pollution and its Effect on Health
have evolved in the Scopus database, Period 1972 - 2022. Descriptive and analytical
bibliometric study of the documents extracted from the history of the database from
Scopus, whose analysis involved the 445 papers selected in the present study,
according to the evaluative criteria. As a result, an annual growth rate of 2.59% was
found, with a very poor start, and a growing perspective mentioned that a coefficient
of determination (R
) of 0.5539 was obtained, verifying a progressive growth of
scientific productions. A constant high noise level was found with occurrences 338
(75.96%). The conditions produced by noise pollution with the highest prevalence in
Health were psychological alterations in some occurrences of 234 documents
(52.58%), followed by sleep disturbances with 147 (33.03%). Germany had the
highest number of affiliated records (n=49), with 26 led documents and a scientific
leadership percentage of 53.06%.
In the same way, in the analysis by the author, it was concluded that Lercher had the
most significant number of scientific productions (n=14). Similarly, the magazine
Environment International is the magazine with the highest index production (n=29).
The most used keywords were Noise pollution, human, noise transportation, air
pollution, and Annoyance. Regarding the type of collaboration, the most concurrent
research methodology was quantitative. | en_US |
