following research had a descriptive scope, quantitative, cross-sectional, retrospective

sinuses were analyzed of patients (18-60 years old) in which the sexual dimorphism of
the maxillary sinuses in height, width, length and volume were analyzed. Results: he
maxillary sinus of the male sex showed an average height of 35.8mm, width of 24.1mm,
length of 34.2mm and volume of 14.7cm3. Regarding the female sex, the results for the
maxillary sinus mean height is 33.8mm, width 22.4mm, length 32.9 and volume 12.5cm

.
Conclusion: It was determined that sexual dimorphism shows higher values in the male
sex than in the female sex. | en_US |
