Clima social escolar y bullying en estudiantes de 3.º de secundaria de la Institución Educativa Uriel de la ciudad del Cusco - 2019

Abstract

El propósito se enfocó en indagar la interrelación entre el entorno social en el ámbito educativo y el fenómeno de hostigamiento en estudiantes del tercer grado de educación secundaria en la Institución Educativa Uriel García durante el año 2019. Para lograr este propósito, se utilizó como medio de obtención de información las Escalas de Clima Social Escolar (CES), un cuestionario estructurado con respuestas de opción múltiple. Además, para evaluar las conductas de hostigamiento, se recurrió al Test Bull de Evaluación Sociométrica de la Violencia entre Estudiantes. La Escala CES, desarrollada por R. Moos y E. Tricket (1974) con el intento de explorar los ambientes en entornos educativos, busca, según Moos (1979), analizar principalmente "las interacciones entre docentes y alumnos, así como las dinámicas organizativas que emergen en el aula". La población total fue conformada por todos los estudiantes matriculados en el tercer año de secundaria durante el año 2019, contabilizando un total de 406 individuos. El enfoque metodológico adoptado para la indagación fue descriptivo-correlacional, utilizando un diseño no experimental y transversal. En resumen, se logró identificar una correlación inversa entre el Clima Social Escolar y el Fenómeno de Hostigamiento en los estudiantes del tercer grado de educación secundaria, en la ciudad de Cusco, durante el año 2019, de acuerdo a las definiciones establecidas para las variables de estudio.

The primary objective of this study was to investigate the connection between the social environment within the educational setting and instances of bullying among third-year high school students at the Uriel García Educational Institution in the year 2019. To achieve this goal, data were collected through the use of the School Social Climate Scales (CES), a structured questionnaire that included multiple-choice responses. Additionally, the Bull Test for the Sociometric Assessment of Student Violence was employed to evaluate incidents of bullying.

The CES Scale, originally developed by R. Moos and E. Tricket in 1974 to analyze dynamics in educational environments, places a significant emphasis on the interactions between teachers and students, as well as the organizational dynamics within the classroom, as outlined by Moos in 1979.

The entire study population encompassed all students enrolled in the third year of high school in 2019, totaling 406 individuals. The research methodology employed a descriptive-correlational approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. In summary, the results indicated a negative correlation between the School Social Climate and the occurrence of bullying among third-year secondary school students at the Uriel García Educational Institution in Cusco during 2019, in accordance with the study's defined variables.
