dc.description.abstract | Introducción: La tuberculosis es una de las enfermedades que aún persiste en la región
de Cusco, de acuerdo a las provincias La Convención se encuentra en el primer lugar con
mayor tasa de incidencia. Por eso es necesario investigar la relación existente entre el
conocimiento disponible y la tuberculosis, para tener un mejor panorama de cuánto
conoce la población sobre esta enfermedad, así como qué actitud toma para poder
prevenirla en la provincia de la Convención.
Objetivo: Determinar la relación del nivel de conocimiento con la actitud frente a la
prevención de la tuberculosis en la población que acude a la IPRESS I-4 Santa Ana – La
Convención, periodo junio – julio 2023.
Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio transeccional, correlacional y descriptivo
ejecutado en la IPRESS I-4 Santa Ana en La Convención, en un total de 202 personas que
acudían a dicho centro de Salud; se aplicaron cuestionarios validados a todos los
participantes. La información se ordenó en Microsoft Excel LTSC y fue ingresada al
programa estadístico SPSS para realizar la estadística descriptiva y su respectivo análisis
multivariado
Resultados: Se observó que el 19.3% del total de encuestados presentó un nivel de
conocimiento bajo. De este grupo, el 12.9% tuvo una actitud mala y el 6.4% una actitud
buena. El 68.8% tuvo conocimiento medio, de estos el 19.3% tuvo mala actitud, mientras
que el 49.5% actitud buena. El 11.9% tuvo conocimiento alto y de este grupo, solo el
1.5% mostró una actitud mala hacia la prevención. Los resultados de la correlación de
Rho de Spearman entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre la tuberculosis y la actitud frente
a la prevención de la tuberculosis en una muestra de 202 individuos fue de 0,447, es decir,
una correlación positiva moderada y además se demostró que la relación fue significativa
al nivel de p = 0.01
Conclusión: Existe relación significativa positiva entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitud
frente a la prevención de la tuberculosis en la población que acude a la IPRESS I-4 Santa

this reason, it is necessary to investigate the relationship between available knowledge

knowledge. Of this group, 12.9% had a bad attitude and 6.4% a good attitude. 68.8% had
average knowledge, of these 19.3% had a bad attitude, while 49.5% had a good attitude.
11.9% had high knowledge and of this group, only 1.5% showed a bad attitude towards
prevention. The results of the Spearman's Rho correlation between the level of knowledge
about tuberculosis and the attitude toward tuberculosis prevention in a sample of 202
individuals was 0.447, that is, a moderate positive correlation, and it was also shown that
the relationship was significant at the p = 0.01 level
Conclusion: There is a significant positive relationship between the level of knowledge
and attitude towards the prevention of tuberculosis in the population that attends the
