dc.description.abstract | Antecedentes: La Diabetes Mellitus se considera un problema de salud pública a nivel mundial
y causa aumento de la morbimortalidad en la población afectada, con el desarrollo de
complicaciones micro y macrovasculares. El control de pacientes diabéticos es fundamental para
alcanzar los objetivos terapéuticos, durante el confinamiento, existieron factores que impactaron
negativamente el bienestar físico y psicológico de las personas, como la pérdida de rutinas diarias,
el estrés psicosocial, en consecuencia, se adoptaron hábitos poco saludables. El objetivo del
presente trabajo de investigación será determinar el impacto de confinamiento sobre los factores
de control en pacientes diabéticos tipo 2.
Métodos: Es un estudio de diseño observacional, longitudinal de tipo analítico relacional. Con
una muestra de 156 pacientes diabéticos tipo 2, mayores de 18 años atendidos en el centro médico
metropolitano del Cusco. La recolección de datos se obtuvo a través de llamadas telefónicas y
revisión de historias clínicas obteniendo datos generales de los pacientes, se utilizó el Test de
Morisky- Green modificado por Val Jiménez como instrumento de investigación.
Resultados: En el presente estudio se observa que la edad más frecuente representa a pacientes
mayores de 60 años con un 74%, el sexo femenino representó mayor porcentaje con un 53%,
durante en confinamiento el 55% de nuestra población indicó haber salido muy poco, seguido del
44% que indicaron no haber salido ningún día y el 1% indica haber salido frecuentemente. En el
control post confinamiento, los niveles de glicemia aumentaron en el 57,69% de los pacientes
(p=0.010), los valores de IMC disminuyeron en el 62,82% de los pacientes (p=0.000) y lo valores
de perímetro abdominal fueron superiores en el 56,41% de los pacientes (p=0.015).
Conclusiones: Existe impacto del confinamiento sobre los factores de control en pacientes
diabéticos tipo 2 del centro médico metropolitano del Cusco, enero- octubre, 2020, ocasionando
alteración de los niveles de glicemia, índice de masa corporal y perímetro abdominal. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | Background: Diabetes Mellitus is considered a world level public health problem that causes an
increase of the morbidity in the afected population, with the development of micro and macro
vascular complications. The control of diabetic patients is essential to reach the therapeutic goals.
During the confinement, there existed factors that impacted negatively the physical and
psychological well-being of people, like the loss of the everyday routine, the psychosocial stress,
thus there were adopted unhealthy habits. The objetive of the present investigation work will be
to determine the impact of the confinement upon the control factors in type 2 diabetic patients.
