pretenden explorar las razones detrás de las intenciones. El
presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de
relación entre el conocimiento y aceptación de los padres de familia sobre la
vacuna contra el COVID-19 en población pediátrica (niños de 5 a 11 años),
realizado en el colegio Diego Quispe Tito, periodo Enero-Mayo del 2022
Métodos: La metodología de estudio es de enfoque Cuantitativo, de alcance
correlacional, con un diseño de tipo transversal-analítico, donde se analizó el
Conocimiento y Aceptación ante la exposición de la vacunación contra el
COVID-19 en padres de familia que tienen niños de 5-11 años, del colegio
Diego Quispe Tito periodo Enero-Mayo del 2022. La población del presente es
de 990 padres de familia, el tamaño de la muestra es de 277 padres de familia.
Resultados: Nuestro trabajo de investigación concluye que el nivel de
aceptación de padres de niños de 5-11 años, que tienen conocimiento de
vacunación fue 14% más respecto a aquellos que no tienen conocimientos
sobre la vacuna contra él COVID-19. Este resultado no fue estadísticamente
significativo puesto que se obtuvo p=0,243. La media de la edad de los
participantes fue de 34 años; el 62.15% son de sexo femenino, el 63.35% de
participantes tiene grado de instrucción Educación Secundaria y Técnico
superior, el 78.49% de los padres radica en el distrito de San Sebastián; el 60.16% tiene un solo hijo; respecto al número de vacunas el 62.15% tiene las 3
dosis de vacunas: respecto al antecedente de COVID-19 de los padres, el
58.96% no tuvieron COVID-19 de los cuales No estuvieron hospitalizados
96.02%. Las madres tienen un 15% más de probabilidad de vacunar a sus hijos
en relación a los padres. Además, existe una mayor prevalencia para aceptar la
vacunación a mayor grado de instrucción, esto es estadísticamente significativo
a excepción del grado universitario, el 74.5% SI tenía conocimiento sobre la
vacuna contra el COVID-19, el 65.74% SI acepta la vacuna contra el COVID19.
La principal fuente de información de todos los participantes fueron los medios
de comunicación visual (39.44%), la principal fuente de información de los
padres que aceptaron la vacuna fueron los medios de comunicación visual
(74.75%)
El motivo de aceptación a la vacuna contra el COVID-19 en sus hijos fue por
regresar a una vida normal (47.81%), respecto a la aceptación de la vacuna
según el antecedente de enfermar por COVID-19, se observó que existe un
19% más de aceptación de la vacuna en aquellos padres que enfermaron con
COVID-19, así mismo el 74,5% tiene conocimiento sobre la vacuna y un
84.86% acepta la vacuna contra el COVID-19.
Conclusiones: Se concluye que a mayor nivel de conocimiento los padres
tenían mayor aceptación para vacunar a sus hijos, y que gran porcentaje de los
padres encuestados tenían conocimiento sobre la vacuna contra el COVID-19,
siendo su principal fuente de información los medios de comunicación visual y

January - May 2022. The current population is 990 parents, the sample size is
298 parents.
Results: Our research work concludes that the level of acceptance of parents
of children between 5 and 11 years of age, who are aware of vaccination, was
14% more than those who are unaware of the vaccine against COVID-19. This
result was not statistically significant since p = 0.243 was obtained. The mean
age of the participants was 34 years; 62.15% are female, 63.35% of the
participants have a Secondary or Higher Technical Education degree, 78.49%
of the parents live in the San Sebastián district; 60.16% have only one child;
Regarding the number of vaccines, 62.15% have all 3 doses of vaccines: and
only 2 participants have 4 doses of the vaccine (0.8%; regarding the father's history of COVID-19, 58.96% did not have COVID-19 of which No 96.02% were
hospitalized.
Mothers are 15% more likely to vaccinate their children than fathers.
In addition, there is a higher prevalence to accept vaccination at a higher level
of education, this is significantly significant except for the university degree, in
addition 74.5% IF they had knowledge about the vaccine against COVID-19,
65.74% IF they accept the vaccine against COVID-19
The main source of information for all participants was the visual media
(39.44%), the main source of information for parents who accepted the vaccine
was the visual media (74.75%).
The reason for accepting the vaccine against COVID-19 in their children was to
return to a normal life (47.81%), regarding the acceptance of the vaccine
according to the history of getting sick from COVID-19, it was observed that
there is a 19 % more acceptance of the vaccine in those parents who became ill
with COVID-19, in addition, 74.5% have knowledge about the vaccine and
84.86% accept the vaccine against COVID-19.
Conclusions: It is concluded that the higher the level of knowledge, the parents
had a greater acceptance to vaccinate their children, and that a large
percentage of the parents surveyed had knowledge about the vaccine against
COVID-19, their main source of information being the media. vision and social
