La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo “Identificar el nivel de resiliencia que presentan los
estudiantes del 4to y 5to de Educación Secundaria de la I.E. Antonio Raymondi del distrito de
Saylla de la provincia de Cusco, 2022”. Se empleó una metodología de alcance descriptivo con
enfoque cuantitativo y diseño de tipo no experimental; para lo cual se consideró el tamaño de
muestra a la totalidad de la población siendo de 128 estudiantes, donde 62 fueron mujeres y 66
varones del 4to y 5to grado de nivel secundaria, respectivamente; para la recolección de
información se aplicó el instrumento basado en escala de Resiliencia (ER) de Wagnild y Young.
A partir de los resultados, se concluyó que el 65,6% de estudiantes tienen un nivel de resiliencia
medio; el 29,7% nivel alto y el 4,7% nivel bajo; respecto a las dimensiones de resiliencia, se
encuentra un nivel medio tanto en la ecuanimidad, confianza en sí mismo y satisfacción personal
para ambos sexos y grados; asimismo, se encontró que existe diferencias significativas entre
grados, dado que los estudiantes del 4to grado muestran un alto nivel de perseverancia y en la
dimensión sentirse bien solo; demostrando de esta manera que los estudiantes del 4to de secundaria
poseen mejores niveles de resiliencia a diferencia de los de 5to de secundaria. The objective of this research was to "Identify the level of resilience presented by the students of
the 4th and 5th year of Secondary Education of the I.E. Antonio Raymondi from the Saylla district
of the Cusco province, 2022”. A descriptive scope methodology with a quantitative approach and
non-experimental design was used; for which the sample size of the entire population is required,
being 128 students, where 62 were women and 66 men from the 4th and 5th grade of secondary
level, respectively; For the collection of information, the instrument based on the Wagnild and
Young Resilience (ER) scale was applied. Based on the results, it was concluded that 65.6% of the
students have a medium level of resilience; 29.7% high level and 4.7% low level; Regarding the
dimensions of resilience, there is a medium level both in equanimity, self-confidence and personal
satisfaction for both sexes and grades; there were, it was found that there are significant differences
between grades, since 4th grade students show a high level of perseverance and in the dimension
of feeling good alone; demonstrating in this way that the students of the 4th year of high school
have better levels of resilience compared to those of the 5th year of high school.
