Gestión por competencias y desempeño laboral del personal administrativo en la municipalidad distrital de Wánchaq del Cusco - 2021

Abstract

La investigación presentada contemplo como objetivo principal determinar la relación que existe entre la gestión por competencias y el desempeño laboral del personal administrativo en la Municipalidad Distrital de Wánchaq del Cusco en el año 2021. Considero dos variables: la Gestión por competencias y el Desempeño laboral. Cada una con sus respectivas dimensiones. En cuanto a la metodología, el tipo de estudio fue el básico, de alcance descriptivo correlacional. Guiándose bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental. La población estuvo constituida por 210 trabajadores y la muestra por 137 trabajadores administrativos que laboran en la Municipalidad distrital de Wánchaq de la provincia y departamento del Cusco en el periodo 2021, el instrumento comprendió el cuestionario y la ficha de observación. El cuestionario fue constituido por 20 reactivos, 10 ítems para cada variable. Los resultados inferenciales indican que entre la variable 1 y la variable 2 se ha obtenido p valor = .000, este resultado es inferior a .010 por tanto, es muy significativo, por ello se aprueba la hipótesis de investigación. Además, se obtuvo Rho = .505 ** esto significa que entre las variables existe correlación de nivel positiva moderada. En este sentido la gestión por competencias es un factor asociado al desempeño laboral.

The main objective of the research presented is to determine the relationship between competency-based management and the job performance of administrative staff in the Wánchaq District Municipality of Cusco in 2021. I consider two variables: competency-based management and job performance. Each with their respective dimensions. Regarding the methodology, the type of study was basic, with a descriptive and correlational scope. Guided by the quantitative approach, non-experimental design. The population consisted of 210 workers and the sample of 137 administrative workers who work in the Wánchaq District Municipality of the province and department of Cusco in the period 2021, the instrument included the questionnaire and the observation sheet. The questionnaire was made up of 20 items, 10 items for each variable. The inferential results indicate that between variable 1 and variable 2, p value = .000 has been obtained, this result is less than .010, therefore, it is very significant, therefore the research hypothesis is approved. In addition, Rho = .505 was obtained ** this means that there is a moderate positive level correlation between the variables. In this sense, competency-based management is a factor associated with job performance.
