Tipo de personalidad y síndrome de burnout en el personal de enfermería del servicio de emergencia del Hospital Nacional Adolfo Guevara Velasco, Cusco - 2021

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar la relación entre el tipo de personalidad y el síndrome de burnout en el personal de enfermería del servicio de emergencia del hospital nacional Adolfo Guevara Velasco, Cusco, 2021. Se evaluó a los participantes, haciendo uso de dos cuestionarios para recopilar datos, el primero fue el Inventario de Personalidad de Eysenck forma B para adultos y el segundo el Inventario de Burnout de Maslach. La investigación conforme a los propósitos corresponde al enfoque cuantitativo de alcance correlacional, con un diseño de investigación no experimental – transversal, con una muestra de 58 participantes y los datos se analizaron mediante el programa estadístico SPSS. Finalmente, como hallazgo más importante se observa que no existe relación entre el tipo de personalidad y el síndrome de burnout en la población objeto de estudio.

The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between personality type and burnout syndrome in the nursing staff of the emergency service of the Adolfo Guevara Velasco National Hospital, Cusco, 2021. The participants were evaluated, using two questionnaires to collect data, the first was the Eysenck Personality Inventory form B for adults and the second the Maslach Burnout Inventory. The research according to the purposes corresponds to the quantitative approach of correlational scope, with a non-experimental - cross-sectional research design, with a sample of 58 participants and the data was analyzed using the SPSS statistical program. Finally, as the most important finding, it is observed that there is no relationship between the type of personality and burnout syndrome in the population under study.
