Uso del portafolio y estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes de enfermería de la Universidad Andina del Cusco, 2019

Abstract

El objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de uso del portafolio académico y los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de la asignatura Cuidados de Enfermería en Neonatología, de la Universidad Andina del Cusco, en el año 2019. La población de estudio estuvo conformada por 37 estudiantes del V ciclo de la asignatura de Cuidados de Enfermería en Neonatología, año 2019 semestres I – II, de la Escuela Profesional de Enfermería; sobre el método empleado el trabajo fue de alcance correlacional, el diseño es no experimental de tipo transversal, en el que se midieron las variables Uso del Portafolio académico y Estilos de aprendizaje; se aplicó el test de Honey – Alonso, para determinar el estilo de aprendizaje predominante. Los resultados de la aplicación de ambos instrumentos, se obtuvo que existe una relación directa y significativa entre el uso del portafolio académico con los 4 estilos de aprendizaje; se llegó a la siguiente conclusión: El uso regular del portafolio se relaciona significativamente con los cuatro estilos de aprendizaje, observándose una mayor significancia con el aprendizaje reflexivo, el portafolio permite en los alumnos el desarrollo de actitudes como investigar, observar, ser creativos, innovadores, reforzar puntos débiles, poner en práctica sus ideas, relacionar la teoría con la práctica, corregir errores y mejorar sus trabajos, autorregular su aprendizaje, características propias de los estilos de aprendizaje.

The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of use of the academic portfolio and the learning styles of the students of the subject Neonatology Nursing Care, from the Andean University of Cusco, in 2019. The population study was made up of 37 students from the V cycle of the subject of Nursing Care in Neonatology, year 2019 semesters I - II, of the Professional School of Nursing; Regarding the method used, the work was correlational in scope, the design was non-experimental of a cross- sectional type, in which the variables Academic portfolio and Learning styles were measured; The Honey - Alonso test was applied to determine the predominant learning style. The results of the application of both instruments, it was obtained that there is a direct and significant relationship between the use of the academic portfolio with the 4 learning styles; The following conclusion was reached: The regular use of the portfolio is significantly related to the four learning styles, observing a greater significance with reflective learning, the portfolio allows students to develop attitudes such as investigating, observing, being creative, innovative , reinforce weak points, put their ideas into practice, relate theory to practice, correct mistakes and improve their work, self-regulate their learning, characteristics of learning styles.
