Alteraciones generales y bucodentales en pacientes pediátricos con leucemia linfoblástica aguda (LLA) bajo tratamiento con quimioterapia, revisión bibliografía comparativa Cusco-2021

Abstract

El presente estudio presenta un estudio bibliográfico de las producciones científicas acerca de las alteraciones generales y bucodentales en pacientes pediátricos con leucemia linfoblástica aguda bajo tratamiento con quimioterapia indexadas en las bases de datos de Web of Science y Scopus que son las dos bases de datos más utilizadas por los investigadores respecto a temas especifico de interés. El objetivo principal de investigación fue identificar las alteraciones generales y bucodentales en pacientes pediátricos con leucemia linfoblástica aguda, bajo tratamiento con quimioterapia, tras la revisión bibliográfica. Se analizaron 91 documentos, los cuales cumplían con los criterios de búsqueda bibliográfica. Se encontró que la revista Pediatric Blood & Cancer con cinco documentos, produjo el 5.49% de los documentos, los doctores Heils, Oosterom y Pieters desarrollaron cuatro documentos cada uno, lo que equivale al 4.40% cada uno. El documento más citado fue Metronomic chemotherapy: An attractive alternative to maximum tolerated dose therapy that can activate anti-tumor immunity and minimize therapeutic resistance obteniendo en total 121 citas al 27 de setiembre del 2021. La manifestación general con mayor ocurrencia fue la hepatotoxicidad, desarrollada en seis documentos 6.59%, sin embargo la manifestación bucodental fue la mucositis oral, desarrollada en 24 documentos (26.37%). Respecto a la regresión lineal de las producciones realizadas por año entre el periodo 2015-2020, se encontró con un R de 0.7171, con una media de producción por año de 15.17 documentos y una desviación estándar de 4,355. Como conclusión se puede apreciar el interés de la academia acerca de las alteraciones generales y bucodentales en pacientes pediátricos con leucemia linfoblástica aguda bajo tratamiento con quimioterapia.

The present study presents a bibliographic study of the scientific productions about general and oral alterations in pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia under treatment with chemotherapy indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, which are the two most used databases. After a literature review, the main research objective was to identify general and oral alterations in pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia under treatment with chemotherapy. Ninety-one documents were analyzed, which met the bibliographic search criteria. It was found that in the journal Pediatric Blood & Cancer with five documents, produced the 5.49% of the documents, Drs Heils, Oosterom and Pieters developed four documents each, which is equivalent to 4.40% each. The most cited document was Metronomic chemotherapy: An attractive alternative to the maximum tolerated dose therapy that can activate anti-tumour immunity and minimize therapeutic resistance, obtaining a total of 121 citations as of September 27, 2021. The general manifestation with the highest occurrence was hepatotoxicity, developed in six documents 6.59%. However, the oral manifestation was oral mucositis, developed in 24 documents (26.37%). Regarding the linear regression of the productions made per year between the 2015-2020 period, an R of 0.7171 was found, with a mean production per year of 15.17 documents and a standard deviation of 4.355. In conclusion, the academic interest in general and oral alterations in pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia under treatment with chemotherapy can be appreciated.
