Comprensión lectora y logro de aprendizaje de lenguaje y comunicación en estudiantes del I ciclo de la Escuela Profesional de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad Tecnológica de los Andes Cusco 2019

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación intitulado: COMPRENSIÓN LECTORA Y LOGRO DE APRENDIZAJE DE LENGUAJE Y COMUNICACIÓN EN ESTUDIANTES DEL I CICLO DE LA ESCUELA PROFESIONAL DE INGENIERÍA DE SISTEMAS DE LA UNIVERSIDAD TECNOLÓGICA DE LOS ANDES-CUSCO 2019, tiene como objetivo establecer la relación entre la comprensión lectora y el logro de aprendizaje de Lenguaje y comunicación en los estudiantes del I ciclo de la Escuela profesional de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad Tecnológica de los Andes-Cusco 2019. El tipo de investigación es básico, de alcance correlacional y diseño no experimentaltransversal con un enfoque cuantitativo. La población estuvo representada por todos los

estudiantes del I ciclo de la Escuela profesional de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad

Tecnológica de los Andes-Cusco 2019-II matriculados en el curso de Lenguaje y

comunicación, población representada por 31 estudiantes, considerando un muestreo no

probabilístico.

Para medir la Comprensión lectora de los estudiantes se empleó el instrumento validado y elaborado por Guerra y Guevara (2013) que consiste en un texto y una prueba de siete reactivos orientados a indagar los niveles de comprensión que manifiestan los alumnos de educación superior, y para determinar el logro de aprendizaje se elaboró y validó un cuestionario conteniendo 30 ítems, que engloban los principales temas abordados durante el periodo del dictado del curso de Lenguaje y comunicación. Se pudo identificar que un 70,97% evidencian problemas de Comprensión lectora y un 83,87% tienen un logro de Aprendizaje entre regular y deficiente, llegando a la conclusión de que existe una relación directa y significativa entre la Comprensión lectora y el logro de aprendizaje de Lenguaje y comunicación de los estudiantes del I ciclo de la Escuela profesional de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad Tecnológica de los Andes-Cusco 2019, recomendando consecuentemente que revalore el papel que cumple la lectura dentro de la formación continua de toda persona, y más aún en el nivel universitario

The present research work entitled: READING COMPREHENSION AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION IN STUDENTS OF THE I CYCLE OF THE PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL OF SYSTEMS ENGINEERING OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY OF LOS ANDES-CUSCO 2019, aims to establish the relationship between reader and the achievement of Language and communication learning in the students of the I cycle of the Professional School of Systems Engineering of the Technological University of the Andes-Cusco 2019. The type of research is basic, with a correlational scope and a non-experimental-crosssectional design with a quantitative approach. The population was represented by all the

students of the I cycle of the Professional School of Systems Engineering of the

Technological University of the Andes-Cusco 2019-II enrolled in the Language and

Communication course, population represented by 31 students, considering a sample not

probabilistic. To measure the reading comprehension of the students, the validated instrument developed by Guerra and Guevara (2013) was used, which consists of a text and a seven-item test aimed at investigating the levels of comprehension manifested by higher education students, and to To determine learning achievement, a questionnaire containing 30 items was developed and validated, which encompass the main topics addressed during the period of the Language and Communication course. It was possible to identify that 70.97% show reading comprehension problems and 83.87% have a Learning achievement between fair and poor, reaching the conclusion that there is a direct and significant relationship between reading comprehension and the achievement of Language and communication learning of the students of the I cycle of the Professional School of Systems Engineering of the Technological University of the Andes-Cusco 2019, consequently recommending that they revalue the role that reading plays within the continuous training of all people, and even more so at the university level
