| es_PE |

factors influence the improvement of the attributes of the drinking water service
that increases the economic well-being of the users of the province of
Andahuaylas. A qualitative and quantitative investigation was carried out using
the method of choice experiments of the mixed logit type. The experimental
design was descriptive and analytical with a sample of 375 users of drinking
water, selected at random. The applied technique was the survey with electoral
cards that include social and economic aspects, attributes of drinking water and
availability to pay. The results show that an improvement of the attributes;
Having water 24 hours a day, recovering water sources, lagoons or springs, and
water pressure positively affect the economic well-being of users. The results
also showed that the social and economic factors: gender, age, number of
household members, education and family income, were statistically significant.
Likewise, users positively impact their willingness to pay with an additional
increase in their monthly billing with the option of improving the continuity of
drinking water 24 hours a day and the recovery of ponds or springs, finding
statistically significant values at 1%. in relation to family income, the age of the
head of the household and the level of studies. Households are willing to pay an
