dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo investigó la relación entre inteligencia emocional y el desempeño
académico del docente de la escuela profesional de medicina humana semestre académico
2018 II de la Universidad Andina del Cusco, investigación de alcance descriptivo
correlacional, con diseño no experimental de corte transversal, con el cual se establece en
la investigación la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y el desempeño académico del
docente.
Las poblaciones de estudio estuvieron integradas por los docentes de la escuela profesional
de Medicina Humana de la UAC a los que previa sensibilización individual se les realizó
la entrevista personal y la aplicación de encuesta tipo cuestionario siendo el instrumento
para medir la inteligencia emocional del docente el TMMS 24, y los estudiantes que
participaron en la encuesta de opinión virtual sobre desempeño académico en el ciclo 2018
II, hallando como resultado general que la inteligencia emocional se relaciona con el
desempeño académico. (

emocional, los docentes logran un excelente desempeño académico, y del cual se arriba a
la conclusión de que el nivel de inteligencia emocional en los docentes de la escuela

académico, existiendo correlación estadísticamente significativa entre inteligencia
emocional y desempeño académico en los docentes de la Escuela Profesional de Medicina

dc.description.abstract | The present work investigated the relationship between emotional intelligence and the
academic performance of the teacher of the professional school of human medicine,
academic semester 2018 II of the Andean University of Cusco, a correlational descriptive
research, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, with which The relationship
between emotional intelligence and teacher academic performance is established in the
research.
The study populations were made up of teachers from the professional school of Human
Medicine of the UAC, who were previously sensitized by a personal interview and a
questionnaire-type survey, the instrument to measure the teacher's emotional intelligence
being the TMMS 24, and the students who participated in the virtual opinion survey on
teacher performance in the 2018 cycle II, finding as a general result that emotional
intelligence is related to academic performance. (<0.05) that is to say that, with adequate
emotional intelligence, teachers achieve excellent academic performance, and from which
