| es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to determine the proximity between the basal wall of the
highmore antrum and the apex of the teeth according to the Evren Ok classification
in Cone Beam tomographies of the Luis Vallejos Santoni Stomatological Clinic of
the Andean University of Cusco
Being a quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, transversal and retrospective
research. Whose population was made up of 280 Cone Beam Tomographs that
were taken in the area of radiological diagnosis of the stomatological clinic Luis
Vallejos Santoni during the semester 2019 –I, according to the inclusion and
exclusion criteria a sample of 159 tomographs was obtained, 89 of the sex female,
70 male with ages from 25 years and up.
The present study showed that the highest frequencies of the Evren OK
classification in higher premolars in both age groups was Type III. What determines
part 1.4 presented in its highest percentage a type 3 with 91.7% and in a smaller
percentage a Type I (2.8%), piece 1.5 presented in its highest percentage a Type
III (54.1%) and in a smaller percentage a Type I (13.5%), piece 2.4 presented a
Type 3 (89%) in its highest percentage and a Type I (3.7%) in a smaller percentage,
piece 2.5 presented a Type III (66.7%) and to a lesser extent a Type I (13.5%). and
in higher molars piece 16 presented in its highest percentage a Type II with 39.2%
and in a smaller percentage a Type I (23.4%), piece 1.7 presented in its highest
percentage a Type I (38%) and in a smaller percentage a Type II (28.9%), piece 2.6
presented a Type III (40.2%) in its highest percentage and a Type I (28.7%) in a
smaller percentage, piece 2.7 presented a Type I (39.8%) in its highest percentage
and to a lesser extent a Type II (29.3%).
In conclusion, premolars do not represent a greater risk in relation to the basal wall
of the highmore antrum, unlike part 1.6 where Type II relationship predominates and
in Type 1.7 the type I relationship predominates, which It means that there is more
risk of bucosinusal communication in these teeth. | en_US |
