dc.description.abstract | En este estudio se determinó la prevalencia de tratamiento de conductos radiculares y
diagnostico en pacientes adultos que acuden al Centro de Salud Integral la Fuente.
Siendo un estudio de tipo cuantitativa, descritiva, observacional , retrospectiva y transversal
la población estuvo formada por 3000 historias clínicas ,de las cuales se encontraron 520
historias clínicas especializadas de endodoncia que presentaban piezas dentarias con
tratamiento de conducto radiculares y diagnóstico .
Los Resultados fueron: la prevalencia de tratamientos de conductos radiculares, fué mayor
en pacientes con edades entre 54 y 58 años, los mismos que se presentaron en 70 pacientes y
representan el 13.46%. El sexo más predominante femenino, las mismas que son 291 y
representan el 55.96%, la pieza con más tratamientos de conductos el primer molar, y esta se
presentó en 101 pacientes que representan el 19.42%, el diagnóstico con más prevalencia fue
pulpitis irreversible, la misma que se presentó en 265 pacientes que representan el 50.96% y
Los tratamientos de conductos radiculares prevalecen en piezas unirradiculares, los mismos
que se presentaron en 307 pacientes que representan el 59.04%.
Se recomienda implementar programas preventivos asistenciales a nivel inter institucional

dc.description.abstract | The present study, the prevalence of root canal treatment and diagnosis was determined in
adult patients who attended the Centro de Salud Integral la Fuente . Being a quantitative,
descriptive, observational, retrospective and cross-sectional study, the population was made
up of 3,000 clinical histories, of which there were 520 clinical records of teeh present with
root canal treatment and diagnosis.
The results were: the prevalence of root canal treatments, the results in patients aged between
54 and 58 years, there were 70 patients and they represented 13.46%. The most predominant
were females they were 291 and represented 55.96%, the toot with the most root canal was
he first molar treatments, and this was presented in 101 patients representing 19.42%, the
diagnosis with the most prevalence was irreversible pulpitis, the same which occurred in 265
patients representing 50.96% rroot canals treatments prevail in unirradicular teet, which were
present in 307 patients representing 59.04%.
It is recommended to implement preventive care programs at the inter-institutional level in
