dc.description.abstract | El trabajo de investigación tiene por objetivo analizar las manifestaciones orales
observadas en adictos a sustancias psicoactivas de los centros de rehabilitación
“Nuevo Amanecer” y “Clamor en el Barrio” de la ciudad del Cusco 2018. Se
realizó ésta investigación de tipo descriptivo, utilizando técnica observacional y
alcance cuantitativo. Participaron 29 pacientes en proceso de rehabilitación de
15 a 70 años de edad. Se realizó un examen clínico odontológico siguiendo los
parámetros establecidos por el instrumento o ficha clínica validada por los jueces
expertos en la que se consideró: registro de manifestaciones clínicas en tejidos
blandos, registro de manifestaciones clínicas en dientes, índice gingival de Löe
y Silness, índice de caries de Klein y Palmer, índice de higiene oral simplificado
de Greene y Vermillion, además, edad, sustancia psicoactiva de mayor
consumo, determinación de policonsumo o mix de sustancias, tiempo de
exposición a la sustancia psicoactiva. Teniendo en cuenta los derechos de
privacidad de los pacientes, se informó de los objetivos y métodos a utilizar,
obteniéndose consentimiento informado. Los datos se volcaron en una hoja de
cálculo Microsoft Excel y los resultados fueron analizados mediante estadística
descriptiva con análisis de frecuencia. De los resultados Se determinó que las
manifestaciones más frecuentes en la cavidad oral en adictos a sustancias
psicoactivas de los centros de rehabilitación “Nuevo Amanecer” y “Clamor en el
Barrio” fueron; a nivel de tejido blando, saburra lingual (82%); leucoedema
(41.4%), pigmentaciones en mucosa (41.4%), las cuales se identificaron solo de
manera clínica y sin descarte histológico alguno; en cuanto a dientes, atrición
dentaria (65.5%), seguido por fractura dentaria (41.4%), abrasión (27.6%),
erosión (24.1%) y pigmentaciones (17.2%); además un índice gingival de
inflamación leve en el 55.2% de los pacientes, índice de higiene oral deficiente
en el 55.2% de los pacientes y un índice de caries colectivo o poblacional de 17.24. que refleja un índice muy alto de riesgo. Concluyendo el consumo de
sustancias psicoactivas adictivas se manifiesta en forma conjunta en el rango
entre 16 y 70 años; presentando en el grupo de estudio adulto y en segundo
lugar joven sobre todo al momento de la necesidad de recibir tratamiento,
además todas estas manifestaciones indican condiciones de riesgo para la salud

dc.description.abstract | The research aims to analyze the observed oral manifestations addicted to
psychoactive substances rehabilitation centers “Nuevo Amanecer” and “Clamor
en el Barrio” of Cusco 2018. It conducted this research descriptive, using
technical observational and quantitative scope. 29 patients in procces of
rehabilitation participated in from 15 to 70 years old. a dental clinical examination

manifestations in the oral cavity addicted to psychoactive substances
rehabilitation centers “New Dawn“ and “Cry in the neighborhood“ were; level soft
tissue saburra lingual (82%); leukoedema (41.4%), pigmentation in mucosa
(41.4%), which were identified only clinical and without any histological discard;
regarding teeth, tooth Attrition (65.5%), followed by tooth fracture (41.4%),
abrasion (27.6%), erosion (24.1%) and pigmentations (17.2%); plus gingival
