Nivel de conocimiento sobre anorexia y bulimia nerviosa y su relación con las repercusiones en la cavidad oral, en los estudiantes de séptimo, octavo y noveno semestre de la Clínica Luis Vallejo Santoni del Cusco – 2018 I.

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio es evaluar, el nivel de conocimiento sobre Anorexia y Bulimia Nerviosa y su relación con las repercusiones en la cavidad oral, en los estudiantes de séptimo, octavo y noveno semestre de la Clínica Luis Vallejo Santoni de la Universidad Andina del Cusco-2018 I. Metodología: La naturaleza del estudio es cuantitativa, descriptiva, prospectiva, transversal y no experimental; con una muestra de estudio constituida por 107 estudiantes; se aplicó un cuestionario de 24 preguntas, en el cual se evaluaron cuatro aspectos: Aspectos generales, manifestaciones extra orales, manifestaciones intra orales, y complicaciones sistemáticas y el manejo odontológico en pacientes Anoréxicos y Bulímicos. Resultados: Los resultados fueron bueno con un porcentaje de 55.1%, seguido de un conocimiento regular 43.9 % y un conocimiento malo de 0.9%. El resultado que predomino sobre Aspectos Generales fue: bueno con un 57.9%, el resultado sobre sobre Manifestaciones Extra Orales predomínate fue: regular con un 47.7%, el conocimiento sobre Manifestaciones Intra Orales predominante fue: regular con un 67.3% y el conocimiento sobre Complicaciones Sistémicas y Manejo Odontológico fue predominantemente bueno con un 53.3%. Conclusiones: El nivel de conocimiento predominantemente fue bueno seguido de un conocimiento regular. En el aspecto de conocimiento sobre manifestaciones intra orales y extra orales en pacientes Anoréxicos y Bulímicos el nivel de conocimiento fue regular. Por lo Cual debemos propiciar y alcanzar un mejor nivel de conocimiento en este campo a través de la formación y capacitación para poder llevar a cabo el rol fundamental que tienen los odontólogos en torno a los desórdenes de la alimentación

The objective of this study is to evaluate the level of knowledge on Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa and their relation with the repercussions in the oral cavity, in the students of the seventh, eighth and ninth semester of the Clinic Luis Vallejo Santoni of the Cusco in the year 2018 I. Methodology: Being a study of quantitative, descriptive, market, transverse and not experimental nature; with a sample constituted by 107 students; I apply to them a questionnaire of 24 questions, in which four aspects were evaluated: General Aspects, Manifestations Extra Oral, Manifestations Intra Oral, and Systematic Complications and the Odontology Managing in patients Anorexic and Bulimic Results: The results were good with a percentage of 55.1 %, consecutive by a regular knowledge 43.9 % and a bad knowledge of 0.9 %. The result on the knowledge on General Aspects was good with 57.9 %, the knowledge on manifestations extra oral was regular with 47.7 %, the knowledge on manifestations intra oral was regular with 67.3 % and the knowledge on complications systems and odontology managing was good with 53.3 %. Conclusions: The level of knowledge was predominantly good consecutive by a regular knowledge. The aspect of knowledge on manifestations intra oral and extra oral in patients Anorexic and Bulimic was regular; which indicates us that we must reach a better level of knowledge in this cross-country running of the formation training and training to be able to carry out the fundamental role that the odonatologists have concerning around the food disorders.
