dc.description.abstractObjetivo: El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal en gestantes que acuden al Centro de Salud de Belempampa del distrito de Santiago, Cusco-2017. Material y Métodos: El presente estudio de investigación es de naturaleza cuantitativa, descriptiva, prospectiva y transversal, no experimental; La población estuvo conformada por los pacientes gestantes que acuden a sus controles en los centros de salud de Belempampa del distrito de Santiago del departamento del Cusco que hacen un total de 756 gestantes en un año según datos de la dirección regional de salud del Cusco en periodo 2016. Para el tamaño de muestra se tomó un nivel de confianza al 95% con un valor Z correspondiente de 1.96, con un error máximo de estimación del 5 % y se utilizó la fórmula para poblaciones finitas haciendo un total de 255 gestantes. La técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario el cual fue validado por criterio de expertos teniendo una adecuación total con un alfa de Cronbach de 0.729, siendo aceptable para cada uno de los itens. El lugar donde se realizó fue los servicios de obstetricia donde primeramente se pidió el consentimiento informado se explicó sobre el tema y llenado del cuestionario. Se hizo un análisis descriptivo de las variables y para la asociación entre las variables cualitativas se utilizó el estadístico chi cuadrado trabajando a un nivel de significancia del 0.05, para ello se utilizó el paquete estadístico SPSS 24. Resultados: El nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal en gestantes se observó que el mayor porcentaje tuvo un nivel regular (66.3%), seguida del nivel malo (26.3%) y en menor porcentaje fue el nivel bueno con el 7.5%. De acuerdo a sus dimensiones se encontró que el nivel de conocimiento sobre medidas preventivas fue bueno (48.6%), el conocimiento sobre enfermedades bucales, sobre atención odontológica, sobre desarrollo dental fue malo (41.6%, 80.0%, 77.6%). Conclusiones: El nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal en gestantes fue regular.es_PE
dc.description.abstractObjective: The objective of this research was to determine the level of knowledge about oral health in pregnant women attending the Belempampa Health Center in the district of Santiago, Cusco-2017. Material and Methods: This research study is quantitative, descriptive, prospective and cross-sectional, non-experimental; The population was formed by the pregnant patients that come to their controls in the health centers of Belempampa of the district of Santiago of the department of Cusco that make a total of 756 pregnant women in a year according to data of the regional direction of health of the Cusco in period 2016. For the sample size, a 95% confidence level was taken with a corresponding Z value of 1.96, with a maximum error of estimation of 5% and the formula for finite populations was used, making a total of 255 pregnant women. The technique was the survey and the instrument the questionnaire which was validated by expert criterion having a total adequacy with a Cronbach alpha of 0.729, being acceptable for each one of the items. The place where it was performed was the obstetrics services where first the informed consent was requested was explained on the subject and filling of the questionnaire. A descriptive analysis of the variables was done and for the association between the qualitative variables, the chi-square statistic was used, working at a significance level of 0.05, for which the statistical package SPSS 24 was used. Results: The level of knowledge about oral health in pregnant women showed that the highest percentage had a regular level (66.3%), followed by the bad level (26.3%) and the lowest percentage was the good level with 7.5%. According to their dimensions it was found that the level of knowledge about preventive measures was good (48.6%), knowledge about oral diseases, dental care, dental development was poor (41.6%, 80.0%, 77.6%). Conclusions: The level of knowledge about oral health in pregnant women was regular.en_US
