Impacto de una intervención educativa en el nivel de conocimiento sobre parasitosis en madres de niños menores de 5 años, C.S. Pampaphalla, Cusco -2017.

Abstract

El trabajo de investigación intitulado: “IMPACTO DE UNA INTERVENCIÓN EDUCATIVA EN EL NIVEL DE CONOCIMIENTO SOBRE PARASITOSIS EN MADRES DE NIÑOS MENORES DE 5 AÑOS.C.S PAMPAPHALLA,CUSCO - 2017”,tuvo como objetivo determinar el impacto de una intervención educativa en el nivel de conocimiento sobre Parasitosis en madres de niños menores de 5 años del Centro de Salud Pampaphalla, Cusco - 2017. El diseño metodológico que se utilizo en la presente investigación fue descriptivo, transversal y cuasi-experimental; aplicado en una población muestral de 66 madres de niños menores de cinco años del Centro de Salud Pampaphalla. La técnica utilizada fue la entrevista y el instrumento la encuesta.

Las conclusiones fueron: Dentro de las características generales de las madres que acuden al Centro de Salud de Pampaphalla, Sicuani; se encontró un 40,9% de madres con una edad de 31 a 40 años, el 28,8% de madres tenían un nivel de educación de primaria completa, el 51,5% de madres tienen una ocupación de ama de casa, el 56,1% de madres tienen el estado civil de conviviente. Respecto al número de hijos 56,1% tiene más de dos hijos, el 27,3% de madres tenían como procedencia la comunidad de Pataanza. En cuanto al nivel de conocimientos antes de la aplicación de la intervención educativa el 63,6% de madres de niños menores de cinco años obtuvieron un nivel de conocimiento regular, el 31,8% obtuvieron un nivel de conocimiento malo y solo el 4,5% de madres obtuvieron un nivel bueno de conocimientos. Después de la aplicación de la intervención educativa estas cifras se incrementaron a un 93,9%, de madres que obtuvieron un nivel bueno de conocimientos y 6,1% obtuvo un nivel regular no habiendo madres con nivel de conocimiento malo.

The research work entitled “IMPACT OF AN EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTION ON THE KNOWLEDGE LEVEL ABOUT PARASITOSIS IN MOTHERS UNDER 5 YEARS OLD.CS PAMPAPHALLA, CUSCO - 2017“, aimed to determine the impact of an educational intervention at the level of Knowledge about Parasitosis in mothers of children under 5 years of the Pampaphalla Health Center, Cusco - 2017. The methodological design that was used in the present investigation was descriptive, transversal and quasi-experimental; Applied in a sample population of 66 mothers of children under five years of the Pampaphalla Health Center. The technique used was the interview and the survey instrument.

The conclusions were: Within the general characteristics of the mothers who attend the Pampaphalla Health Center, Sicuani; 40.9% of mothers with an age of 31 to 40 years were found, 28.8% of mothers had a complete primary education level, 51.5% of mothers have a housewife occupation, the 56.1% of mothers have the marital status of a cohabitant. Regarding the number of children, 56.1% had more than two children, 27.3% of mothers were from the community of Pataanza. As for the level of knowledge before the implementation of the educational intervention, 63.6% of mothers of children under five obtained a level of regular knowledge, 31.8% had a poor level of knowledge and only 4, 5% of mothers had a good level of knowledge. After the implementation of the educational intervention these figures increased to 93.9%, of mothers who obtained a good level of knowledge and 6.1% obtained a regular level without having mothers with poor level of knowledge.
