“Desempeño Docente en la Virtualidad con la Satisfacción Universitaria en la Escuela
Profesional de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Andina del Cusco en el Año 2022”
El presente estudio se realizó con el objetivo de “Determinar la correlación del desempeño
docente en la virtualidad y la satisfacción universitaria en la Escuela Profesional de
Medicina Humana de la Universidad Andina del Cusco en el año 2022.”
La metodología del presente estudio corresponde a un diseño de tipo observacional, de
alcance correlacional, transversal retrospectivo de tipo cuantitativo. Las variables
consideradas para explicar el grado de satisfacción de los estudiantes en relación al
servicio educativo son: Desempeño Docente y Satisfacción Universitaria. Se aplicó una
encuesta, en base a preguntas cerradas en escala tipo Likert a los estudiantes de la escuela
profesional de Medicina Humana, de los cuales acudieron a responder 519 estudiantes.
Los resultados de nuestro estudio mostraron que la edad promedio de los estudiantes fue
de 23 años con un RIQ entre 20-26. Respecto al sexo se encontró que el 61.5% de los
estudiantes son mujeres frente a un 38.5% de varones. Respecto al colegio de procedencia
predominante el 53.4% de alumnos fueron de colegio privado. Respecto a la respuesta de
nuestros cuestionarios, el décimo primer semestre fue el que más acudió con un 12.3%
de respuesta. Respecto al desempeño docente la media fue de 58.6, de un puntaje entre
16 a 80. Respecto a la satisfacción universitaria la media fue de 72.5, de un puntaje entre
20 a 100. Respecto a la matriz de correlaciones el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman
(Rho) entre desempeño docente y satisfacción universitaria es alto, alcanzando un valor
de 0.891, además, la significancia estadística es notable, con un valor p menor a 0.001.
La conclusión es que existe una alta satisfacción universitaria en relación al desempeño
docente en la virtualidad realizada en el año 2022. “Teaching Performance in Virtuality with University Satisfaction in the Professional

The present study was carried out with the objective of “Determining the correlation of
teaching performance in virtuality and university satisfaction in the Professional School
of Human Medicine of the Andean University of Cusco in the year 2022.”
The methodology of the present study corresponds to an observational, correlational,
retrospective cross-sectional quantitative design. The variables considered to explain the
degree of student satisfaction in relation to the educational service are: Teaching
Performance and University Satisfaction. A survey was applied, based on closed
questions on a Likert-type scale, to the students of the professional school of Human
Medicine, of which 519 students responded.
The results of our study showed that the average age of the students was 23 years old with
an IQR between 20-26. Regarding sex, it was found that 61.5% of the students are women
compared to 38.5% men. Regarding the school of predominant origin, 53.4% of students
were from private schools. Regarding the response to our questionnaires, the eleventh
semester was the one with the most attendance with a 12.3% response. Regarding
teaching performance, the average was 58.6, with a score between 16 and 80. Regarding
university satisfaction, the average was 72.5, with a score between 20 and 100. Regarding
the correlation matrix, the Spearman correlation coefficient (Rho) between teaching
performance and university satisfaction is high, reaching a value of 0.891, in addition, the
statistical significance is notable, with a p value less than 0.001.
The conclusion is that there is high university satisfaction in relation to teaching
performance in virtuality carried out in 2022.
