522R-10. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | In the present investigation, which is called “INFLUENCE OF POROSITY ON THE
MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF A PERMEABLE CONCRETE F´C 210 KG/CM2 IN
ABANCAY-APURÍMAC 2023”, in the development of this investigation, 42 concrete cores
with a resistance of design f'c 210 kg/cm2 in which it was evaluated with two types of
aggregates with a maximum size of 1/2" and 3/8", according to Zone 8 and Zone 9
respectively of the Peruvian technical regulations, it was carried out the permeability tests,
compression resistance and finally the flexural resistance to determine the effect that porosity
causes on the mechanical properties for the use of permeable concrete as urban pavement in
the study area of the city of Abancay. It is determined according to the tests carried out with
the 02 types of aggregates, with a maximum size of 1/2" and 3/8", that the permeable concrete
with 1/2" aggregate had a compressive strength of 189.01 kg/cm2. , a modulus of rupture of
32.16 kg/cm2 and a permeability of 0.382 cm/s. On the other hand, the permeable concrete
with the 3/8” aggregate had a compressive strength of 234.16 kg/cm2, a modulus of rupture of
37.03 kg/cm2 and permeability of 0.159 cm/s. Finally, in the absence of specific regulations
in Peru for the use of this material, it was concluded that permeable concrete with aggregate
with a maximum size of 3/8” is ideal for application as a rolling surface in urban pavement.
These results are based on its compliance with the regulations described in the research, such
as Standard CE.010 Urban Pavements (2010) and ACI 522R-10. | en_US |
