The present study entitled: "LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES

of the community of Hercca, district of Sicuani and province of

survey technique using the questionnaire as an instrument. From the results
achieved, it is concluded that the level of knowledge and attitudes towards gender
violence in the rural community of Hercca in the district of Sicuani - Canchis Cusco

knowledge about gender violence in the community of Hercca, it is also observed
that 30% of the villagers have regular attitudes with a tendency to good. These
results are due to several factors such as the lack of dissemination and access to
information, since women's rights and the legal provisions that protect them against
gender-based violence have not been effectively disseminated in the community, as
well as the lack of implementation and effective enforcement of laws and policies
aimed at preventing and addressing gender-based violence, barriers to accessing
justice and the lack of support services to assist victims of GBV, such as legal aid
and counselling centres, and fear of reporting are major barriers to victims seeking
help and learning about GBV.
