Conocimiento, actitud y práctica sobre el cuidado humanizado de Jean Watson en profesionales de enfermería del hospital de Quillabamba, Cusco 2023

Abstract

La tesis titulada: “CONOCIMIENTO, ACTITUD Y PRÁCTICA SOBRE EL CUIDADO HUMANIZADO DE JEAN WATSON EN PROFESIONALES DE ENFERMERÍA DEL HOSPITAL DE QUILLABAMBA, CUSCO 2023”, tuvo como objetivo determinar el conocimiento, actitud y práctica sobre el cuidado humanizado de Jean Watson en los profesionales de enfermería del Hospital de Quillabamba Cusco, la metodología fue de enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, no experimental, transversal, prospectivo; la población y muestra a la vez estuvo constituida por 43 Licenciadas (os) en Enfermería que laboraban en el Hospital de Quillabamba en el 2023; la técnica para la variable práctica fue la observación aplicando una lista de cotejo, para las variables conocimiento y actitud fue la encuesta utilizando el cuestionario como instrumento. Resultados: 79,1% tiene de 36 a más años de edad; 83,7% es de sexo femenino; 53,5% refiere tener un estado civil casado; 51,2% tiene más de 16 años de experiencia profesional; 42,4% es nombrado y 25,6% atiende en el área de medicina. En el conocimiento sobre el cuidado humanizado de Jean Watson el 16,3% presenta un nivel bajo, 67,4% nivel medio y 16,3% nivel alto. Respecto a la actitud hacia el cuidado humanizado 67,4% presenta una actitud positiva y 32,6% una actitud negativa. En la práctica de cuidado humanizado, el 20,9% presenta una suficiente práctica, 44,2% presenta una práctica regular y 34,9% insuficiente.

The thesis titled: "KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, AND PRACTICE ABOUT JEAN WATSON'S THEORY HUMANIZED CARE IN NURSING PROFESSIONALS AT THE HOSPITAL OF QUILLABAMBA, CUSCO 2023" aimed to determine the knowledge, attitude, and practice on Jean Watson's theory humanized care in the nursing professionals at the Hospital of Quillabamba in Cusco. The methodology was quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and prospective; the population and sample consisted of 43 Nursing Graduates working at the Hospital of Quillabamba in 2023; the technique for the practice variable was observation applying a checklist, and for the knowledge and attitude variables, it was the survey using a questionnaire as an instrument. Results: 79.1% are aged 36 and older; 83.7% are female; 53.5% report being married; 51.2% have more than 16 years of professional experience; 42.4% are appointed, and 25.6% work in the medical area. In the theory of Jean Watson Knowledge about humanized care, 16.3% show a low level, 67.4% a medium level, and 16.3% a high level. Regarding the attitude towards humanized care, 67.4% show a positive attitude, and 32.6% a negative attitude. In the practice of humanized care, 20.9% show enough practice, 44.2% regular practice, and 34.9% insufficient.
