Análisis de la actividad turística en la ruta de senderismo Santiago de Cachora, Parque Arqueológico de Choquequirao, Cusco - 2022

Abstract

La ruta de caminata al Parque Arqueológico de Choquequirao, es una de las rutas de senderismo más visitadas en la región Cusco, puesto que lleva a uno de los Parques Arqueológicos más importantes de la región, la ruta en mención es visitada por unos 8000 visitantes aproximadamente por año, según datos estadísticos del Ministerio de Cultura sede desconcentrada Cusco, la ruta de senderismo, cuenta con algunos servicios turísticos básicos tales como: señalética, servicios higiénicos y áreas designadas para campamento, los cuales fueron construidos y habilitados el año 2005 por la Comisión Especial para Coordinar y Supervigilar el Plan Turístico Cultural Perú – UNESCO, (COPESCO), las cuales en la actualidad presentan deficiencias. El objetivo fue describir la actividad turística en la ruta de caminata de senderismo Santiago de Cachora, Parque Arqueológico de Choquequirao, Cusco. La metodología fue descriptiva, de diseño no experimental, teniendo a la muestra poblacional compuesta por 235 turistas mensuales quienes inician la Ruta De Trekking Santiago De Cachora, a quienes se les aplicó la encuesta y el cuestionario, obteniendo como conclusión: la actividad turística es regular, debido a que el 50.7% de los turistas lo manifestó así, dicha respuesta es contrastada con sus dimensiones, la dimensión Demanda Turística es calificada como regular, ya que el 50.2% de los turistas lo percibe de esta forma, así mismo, la dimensión Oferta turística es percibida como regular, ya que el 48.1% de los turistas lo indica de esta manera, por otro lado, la dimensión Espacio Geográfico es regular, ya que el 53.8% de los turistas lo percibe de este modo, y finalmente, la dimensión Operadores de mercado es regular, y esto es sustentado por los turistas ya que el 50.6% de ellos lo percibe de esta forma.

The hiking route to the Choquequirao Archaeological Park is one of the most visited hiking routes in the Cusco region, since it leads to one of the most important Archaeological Parks in the region. The route is visited by approximately 8000 visitors per year according to statistical data from the Ministry of Culture, decentralized headquarters of Cusco, the hiking route has some basic tourist services such as signage, hygienic services and designated camping sites, which were built and enabled in 2005 by the Special Commission to Coordinate and Supervise the Peru Cultural Tourism Plan – UNESCO, (COPESCO), which currently present deficiencies. The objective was to describe the tourist activity on the Santiago de Cachora hiking route, Choquequirao Archaeological Park, Cusco. The methodology was descriptive, with a non- experimental design, having the population sample composed of 235 monthly tourists who began the Santiago De Cachora Trekking Route, to whom the survey and questionnaire were applied, obtaining as a conclusion that the tourist activity is regular. Because 50.7% of tourists expressed it this way, this response is contrasted with its dimensions, the Tourism Demand dimension is classified as regular, since 50.2% of tourists perceive it in this way, likewise, the Tourism Supply dimension is perceived as regular, since 48.1% of tourists indicate it this way, on the other hand, the Geographic Space dimension is regular, since 53.8% of tourists perceive it this way, and finally, the Operators dimension market is regular, and this is supported by tourists since 50.6% of them perceive it this way.
