Análisis del turismo social en el distrito de San Jerónimo, provincia de cusco, región Cusco - 2022

Abstract

El turismo social nace en amparo del desarrollo de las comunidades locales y los visitantes, en torno al turismo; de acuerdo con los principios de integración social, solidaridad y sustentabilidad que garantice el acceso equitativo a las experiencias turísticas que permitan disfrutar las actividades de ocio para la visita de sus destinos turísticos. El distrito de San Jerónimo cuenta con gran potencialidad turística, sin embargo, se pudo percibir el poco desarrollo del turismo social, debido a que la población cuenta con limitaciones de bienestar social. El objetivo de investigación fue describir el turismo social en el distrito de San Jerónimo, provincia Cusco – Región Cusco 2022. La metodología aplicada fue de tipo básico, nivel descriptivo, enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental, se aplicaron encuestas a 382 habitantes del distrito. Los resultados de la variable turismo social en su dimensión de accesibilidad el 72.5% indicaron que es muy baja debido a sus ingresos económicos, en la dimensión de identidad cultural el 71.7 indicó que es baja debido a que se están perdiendo la manifestaciones culturales del distrito, en la dimensión de calidad de vida el 52.1% indicó que es baja debido a que no todos cuentan con las condiciones adecuadas, en la dimensión de medio ambiente el 56.3% opinó que es muy baja, porque la población local no se da cuenta de la importancia de proteger y cuidar la naturaleza en sus diversas manifestaciones, finalmente en la dimensión de disfrute del tiempo libre el 78% indicó que es muy bajo, debido a la falta de programas de turismo social. En conclusión, se dio a conocer los resultados que el turismo realizado por la población local es muy bajo, como lo indicaron el 75.1% de los encuestados; debido a que no tienen la facilidad de viajar con el objetivo de descubrir nuevas experiencias y lugares turísticos, continuando de esta manera excluida de actividades recreativas del distrito.

The district of San Jerónimo has great tourism potential, however, the little development of social tourism could be perceived, due to the fact that the population has social well-being limitations. The research objective was to describe social tourism in the district of San Jerónimo, Cusco province – Cusco 2022 Region. The applied methodology of basic type, descriptive level, quantitative approach and non-experimental design, surveys were applied to 382 inhabitants of the district. The results of the social tourism variable in its accessibility dimension, 72.5% indicated that it is very low due to their economic income, in the cultural identity dimension, 71.7% indicated that it is low because they are missing the cultural manifestations of the district. In the dimension of quality of life, 52.1% indicated that it is low because everyone has adequate conditions, in the dimension of the environment, 56.3% thought that it is very low, because the local population does not realize the importance of protecting and caring for nature in its various manifestations, finally in the dimension of enjoyment of free time, 78% indicated that it is very low, due to the lack of social tourism programs. In conclusion, the results revealed that tourism carried out by the local population is very low, as indicated by 75.1% of those surveyed; because they do not have the facility to travel with the aim of discovering new experiences and tourist places, thus continuing to be excluded from recreational activities in the district.
