Características clínicas del dengue en trabajadores de la Municipalidad Distrital de Echarate, provincia La Convención - Cusco en el año 2023

La tesis titulada “CARACTERÍSTICAS CLÍNICAS DEL DENGUE EN
TRABAJADORES DE LA MUNICIPALIDAD DISTRITAL DE ECHARATE,
PROVINCIA LA CONVENCIÓN – CUSCO EN EL AÑO 2023”. Tuvo como objetivo
determinar las características clínicas del dengue en los trabajadores de la
Municipalidad de Echarate, Provincia de la Convención - Cusco, durante el año
2023. La metodología fue de enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal,
consideró una muestra de 124 trabajadores de la municipalidad de Echarate
diagnosticados con el virus del dengue. Se utilizó la técnica de la observación y
como instrumento, la guía de observación del MINSA y la ficha de recolección de
datos de Quilla, J del 2021, adaptada a la realidad del estudio.
Resultados: En las características sociodemográficas 54,8% tenían entre 26 y 35
años de edad, 60,5% era del sexo femenino y 52,4% procedía del poblado de
Echarate. Se identificó las características clínicas de los trabajadores donde el
94,4% presentó cefalea, 93,5% gingivorragia, 90,3% dolor retrocular, 87,9% fiebre,
66,1% artralgias, 61,3% falta de apetito. Por otro lado el 100% de los trabajadores
municipales no presentaron petequias, epistaxis, equimosis ni ginecorragia. No se
presentaron registros sobre signos de alarma asociados al dengue; asimismo, no
se presentaron signos de gravedad por dengue. En los exámenes de laboratorio
realizados el 100% fue positivo a Elisa y 100% se realizó hematocrito. En la
evolución de los casos de dengue 100% no requirió hospitalización, no fue referido
y no falleció a causa de dengue. En el diagnóstico del dengue el 100% fueron
diagnosticados con dengue sin signo de alarma. The thesis entitled "CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF DENGUE IN WORKERS
OF THE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY OF ECHARATE, LA CONVENCIÓN
PROVINCE – CUSCO IN THE YEAR 2023" aimed to determine the clinical
characteristics of dengue in the workers of the Municipality of Echarate, La
Convención Province - Cusco, during the year 2023. The methodology was
quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, and considered a sample of 124 workers
from the Echarate municipality diagnosed with the dengue virus. The technique of
observation was used, and as instruments, the MINSA observation guide and the
data collection form by Quilla, J from 2021, adapted to the reality of the study.
Results: In the sociodemographic characteristics, 54.8% were between 26 and 35
years of age, 60.5% were female, and 52.4% came from the town of Echarate. The
clinical characteristics of the workers were identified, where 94.4% presented
headache, 93.5% gingival bleeding, 90.3% retroocular pain, 87.9% fever, 66.1%
arthralgias, 61.3% lack of appetite. On the other hand, 100% of the municipal
workers did not present petechiae, epistaxis, ecchymosis, nor gynecorrhagia. There
were no records of warning signs associated with dengue; likewise, there were no
signs of severity due to dengue. In the laboratory examinations performed, 100%
tested positive for Elisa and 100% underwent hematocrit. In the evolution of dengue
cases, 100% did not require hospitalization, were not referred, and did not die due
to dengue. In the diagnosis of dengue, 100% were diagnosed with dengue without
warning signs.
