dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación, tuvo por objetivo analizar el impacto del COVID
19 en la demanda turística del Santuario Histórico de Machu Picchu, 2021, para lo cual se
realizó una investigación explicativa y cuantitativa, la población de estudio estuvo conformado
por 62,695 turistas, con una muestra de 382 visitantes de enero a mayo del 2021, la técnica que
se utilizó fue documental, además de la encuesta, cuyo instrumento fue el cuestionario y
análisis documental con el reporte de turistas que visitan el Santuario Histórico de Machu
Picchu diariamente entre el 2019, 2020 y 2021. Se encontró como resultado que, el 68,10%
manifiesta que fue poco el impacto que tuvieron a efectos del COVID 19, puesto que se vieron
más afectados de manera psicológica y social, que económica; por otro lado, solo el 28%
considera que fue bastante el impacto por la COVID 19. En cuanto a la percepción de la
demanda turística, se encontró que, el 83,50% de los turistas consideran que tuvieron algunos
factores determinantes y motivacionales para ser parte de la demanda turística del Santuario
Histórico de Machu Picchu, y el 14,10% manifiesta que fueron pocos los factores para visitar
la Llaqta, por lo tanto concluyen que, el COVID 19 impactó en la demanda turística del
Santuario Histórico de Machu Picchu, periodo 2021, cuyo valor de Sig. es 0,000 y el coeficiente
de correlación fue de 0,382 indicando que existe relación positiva media entre ambas variables. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | The objective of this research work was to analyze the impact of COVID 19 on the
tourist demand of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, 2021, for which an explanatory and
quantitative investigation was carried out, the study population consisted of 62,695 tourists,
with a sample of 382 visitors from January to May 2021, the technique used was documentary,
in addition to the survey, whose instrument was the questionnaire and documentary analysis
with the report of tourists who visit the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu daily between
2019 , 2020 and 2021. It was found as a result that 68.10% state that the impact they had for
the purposes of COVID 19 was little, since they were more affected psychologically and
socially than economically; On the other hand, only 28% consider that the impact of COVID
19 was quite significant. Regarding the perception of tourist demand, it was found that 83.50%
of tourists consider that they had some determining and motivational factors for be part of the
tourist demand of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, and 14.10% state that there were
few factors to visit the Llaqta, therefore they conclude that COVID 19 impacted the tourist
demand of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu , period 2021, whose value of Sig. is 0.000
and the correlation coefficient was 0.382, indicating that there is an average positive
