dc.description.abstractLa investigación que explica la relación existente entre educación y salarios de los individuos ha generado un creciente interés por los investigadores en el campo de la economía laboral y de la economía de la educación. Pero sin embargo el interés en investigar la relación entre el estado de salud de los trabajadores y su productividad es reciente. Dado que la productividad de un trabajador está estrechamente relacionado con su estado de salud. En esta investigación se analiza la relación más específica entre la salud, la productividad y salarios de los trabajadores del Departamento del Cusco en el año 2014, utilizando datos de la Encuesta Nacional de Hogares (ENAHO), incluyendo dentro del análisis variables como: la educación, edad, tipo de empresa, tamaño de empresa, afiliación a un seguro de salud. La investigación demuestra que el buen estado de salud de los trabajadores del mercado laboral del Departamento del Cusco, influye positivamente en su productividad y salarios. Del mismo modo se encuentra que las variables edad, educación, tipo de institución en la que labora un trabajador cusqueño, son variables significativas que también explican la productividad y salarios.es_PE
dc.description.abstractThe investigation of the relationship between human capital and sustainable economic growth has generated a growing research interest for Peru. The reduction in growth that our country is going through drastic measures have resulted in the government, it is known in economic theory that sustainable growth of a country is based on the quality of this human capital. This research has analyzed the specific relationship between health, productivity and wages of workers in the Department of Cusco, including education, as this will depend on the health directly. These values found in the model incorporate specific knowledge to our department, thus highlighting the importance of Health, giving priority level education. According to the above stated, we sought to confirm the hypothesis that health, education and years of belonging to a private institution directly related to the productivity and wages of workers Cusco manner. This research focuses on the economic returns of human capital, specifically health and its importance is being overshadowed largely by education.en_US
