Efecto hepatoprotector del extracto etanólico y acuoso de hojas y flores de Lavatera arbórea var. Sp (Malva silvestre) en ratones de laboratorio, Cusco – 2021.

Abstract

El creciente interés en el uso de algunos vegetales y alimentos medicinales han hecho que se encuentren mecanismos técnicos y prácticos que permitan la obtención de las propiedades medicinales de muchas plantas como la malva silvestre; que puedan como en este caso, tener un efecto hepatoprotector que pueda ser usado como alternativa de tratamiento en alteraciones hepáticas. El objetivo general de esta investigación fue evaluar el efecto hepatoprotector del extracto acuoso y etanólico de hojas y flores de Lavatera arborea var. sp (Malva silvestre) en ratones de laboratorio, Cusco-2021. La metodología consideró un enfoque cuantitativo, con una investigación aplicada, explicativa, de diseño experimental puro. Se consideró una muestra por conveniencia de 35 ratones procedentes del Bioterio de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Andina del Cusco. Las técnicas usadas fueron prueba estándar para medir el efecto hepatoprotector y la observación directa, el instrumento usado fue una ficha de recolección de datos para evaluar las alteraciones histopatológicas y clínicas, validada por juicio de expertos. Los resultados demostraron que el extracto acuoso de flores y hojas de Lavatera arborea var sp (malva silvestre) permitieron un daño leve en los sujetos de investigación (14.3%), mientras que el extracto etanólico de flores y hojas de Lavatera arborea (malva silvestre) permitieron un daño leve (8.6%) siendo este último más eficaz, por lo que se concluyó, que ambos extractos acuoso y etanólico de flores y hojas de Lavatera arborea var sp (malva silvestre) presentan efecto hepatoprotector al igual que Hepabionta y Complejo B

The growing interest in the use of plants and/or foods with medicinal characteristics has led to technical and practical mechanisms being found that allow obtaining the medicinal properties of many plants such as wild mallow; that can, as in this case, have a hepatoprotective effect that can be used as an alternative treatment in liver disorders. The general objective of the present investigation was to evaluate the hepatoprotective effect of the aqueous and ethanolic extract of leaves and flowers of Lavatera arborea var. sp (Mallow wild) in laboratory mice, Cusco- 2021. The methodology contemplated the quantitative approach with an applied, explanatory type research, of pure experimental design. A convenience sample of 35 mice from the Bioterio of the Facultad de ciencias de la Salud of the Universidad Andina del Cusco was considered. The techniques used were a standard test to measure the hepatoprotective effect and direct observation, the instrument used was a data collection form to evaluate the histopathological and clinical alterations, validated by expert judgment. The results showed that the aqueous extract of flowers and leaves of Lavatera arborea var sp (wild mallow) allowed a slight damage in the research subjects (14.3%), while the ethanolic extract of flowers and leaves of Lavatera arborea (wild mallow) allowed a slight damage (8.6%) being the latter more effective, so it was concluded that both the aqueous extract and the ethanolic extract of flowers and leaves of Lavatera arborea var sp (wild mallow) have a hepatoprotective effect as well as that Hepabionta and Complex B
