This research was developed in the city of Cusco, the study focuses on the physical-mechanical properties of the standard mortar, with partial replacement of the aggregate weight by rubber particles from disused tires in percentages of 7%, 10% and 13%. The properties analyzed in the hardened state of mortar were the compressive strength and the bending strength, on the other hand, the properties analyzed in the fresh state were the consistency, setting time, unit weight and air content. The mortar mixture was made with fine aggregates from the Cunyac and Huambutío quarries, as well as portland cement type IP, and the ages of break tests were 7,14 and 28 days. The crushed rubber was used because it shows an increase in some properties in the fresh state, as in the unit weight test, the addition of rubber generates a decrease in the unit weight of the mortar, in the air content test it generates an increase in the percentage of air and in the mortar consistency test it generates greater fluidity. however, it reduces the resistance to compression and bending, it is also a material that causes environmental pollution. For the sampling, analysis and testing, it was considered the Peruvian technical standards (NTP) and the materials testing manual (MTC E), which refer to mortar. The mortar samples were given of 5x5x5cm for the case of the compression test and 4x4x16cm prisms for the case of the bending test, substituting a percentage (7%, 10% and 13%) in the weight of the aggregate for crushed rubber. The population was made up of 72 mortar dices and 72 mortar prisms made with a water-cement ratio of 0.52: 1 in the results, an approach of the compressive strength of the mortar added with 7% was observed, being 111.07 kg / cm2 at 28 days, the resistance of the standard mortar at 28 days was 118.68 kg7cm2. We were able to highlight the results of unit weight and consistency, having a decrease in the unit weight of the mortar with 13% substitution of the aggregate for rubber with a value of 702.73 kg / m3, the unit weight of the standard mortar was 816.08 kg / cm3 . In the consistency test, it was observed that the mortar with 7% substitution of the aggregate for rubber was the one that came closest to the desired consistency with a value of 2.64 ", the standard mortar being 2.36". Analyzing the results obtained, the improvement of the physical properties in the fresh state can be observed, however, it was not possible to comply with the specific hypotheses of the compression and bending tests, having a notable decrease in said resistances.en_US
