dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar los niveles de depresión en niños de 7 a 8 años en confinamiento durante la pandemia del COVID-19 en las II.EE. de la Merced y Tupac Amaru en la ciudad del Cusco en el año 2021; en cuanto a la metodología, el trabajo se realizó por intermedio de un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental - transversal, tipo básico, nivel descriptivo; por otro lado, la técnica empleada para la recolección de datos fue una encuesta, de instrumento se usó un cuestionario de preguntas denominado o basado en el Inventario de Depresión Infantil (CDI) el cual es alusivo a la variable depresión infantil, instrumento ya validado mediante investigaciones previas y/o por expertos en la materia; la población empleada en el estudio fue de 364 estudiantes pertenecientes al grupo etario de 7 a 8 años y de la misma manera forman parte a ambas instituciones educativas del estudio, a partir de ella se extrajo una muestra representativa de tamaño igual a 188 niños mediante un muestreo aleatorio simple. Los resultados demostraron que, el 55.3% de los niños presentaron una depresión infantil de nivel severo, un 41% sufrió una depresión infantil leve y mientras tanto el 3,7% de los niños no presentaron sintomatologías de depresión; el estado de ánimo disfórico en los niños se presentó de manera severa en mayor porcentaje cuyo valor alcanza un 85.1%; por otro lado, el 56,4% de los niños no presentaron ninguna sintomatología en cuanto se refiere a la autoestima negativa o autodesprecio. Concluyéndose que la depresión infantil sobre los niños de la II.EE. de la Merced y Tupac Amaru se presenta en su gran mayoría a niveles severos, mientras tanto, bajo la misma población de estudio, para la dimensión de estado disfórico se presentó en grandes proporciones como severo, y para la autoestima negativa en su gran mayoría los niños no presentaron ninguna sintomatología.es_PE
dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research was to determine the levels of depression in children aged 7 to 8 years in confinement during the COVID-19 pandemic in the II.EE. As for the methodology, the work was conducted through a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design - cross-sectional, basic type, descriptive level; on the other hand, the technique used for data collection was a survey, the instrument used was a questionnaire of questions called or based on the Childhood Depression Inventory (CDI) which is allusive to the variable childhood depression, an instrument already validated by previous research and / or experts in the field; The population used in the study was 364 students belonging to the age group of 7 to 8 years and in the same way are part of both educational institutions of the study, from which a representative sample of equal size to 188 children was extracted by simple random sampling. The results showed that 55.3% of the children presented severe childhood depression, 41% suffered from mild childhood depression and meanwhile 3.7% of the children did not present symptoms of depression; the dysphoric mood in children was presented in a severe way in a higher percentage which value reached 85.1%; on the other hand, 56.4% of the children did not present any symptomatology in terms of negative self-esteem or self-contempt. It was concluded that childhood depression in children of the II.EE. de la Merced and Tupac Amaru is presented in its great majority at severe levels, while, under the same study population, for the dimension of dysphoric state it was presented in large proportions as severe, and for negative self-esteem in its great majority the children did not present any symptomatology.en_US
