p=0.000 (p<0.01), para el cuadrante 6 (madre-abuela) p=0.001 (p<0.05) y para el
cuadrante 7 (hijo-madre) p=0.042 (p<0.05); mientras que el cuadrante 8 no presenta
significancia p=0.202 (p>0.05).
| es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | Introduction: Decoding teaches us to listen to what the body tells us biologically
considering each symptom and emotional understanding, since the activation of
each disease has a cause either mental or physical. Objective: The present research
aimed to determine the relationship between carious lesions by quadrants with
Christian Beyer's dental decoding in pediatric patients in private practice, Cusco-
2021.
Material and method: The research is at a correlational level with a quantitative
approach and a basic, prospective, cross-sectional, non-experimental and field type.
There was a sample of 199 pediatric patients, of which 95 were male and 104
female; two techniques were used, observational, in which the Dental Clinic Record
(Odontogram) was used as an instrument and the second technique was a
communicational survey type, in which the questionnaire was used as an instrument
according to Christian Beyer.
Results: A high significance is presented for quadrant 5 (mother-grandfather) p =
0.000 (p <0.01), for quadrant 6 (mother-grandmother) p = 0.001 (p <0.05) and for
quadrant 7 (child- mother) p = 0.042 (p <0.05); while quadrant 8 does not present
significance p = 0.202 (p> 0.05).
Conclusion: If there is a relationship between carious lesions in three quadrants (5,
6 and 7) with Christian Beyer's dental decoding. It has also been found that genetic
and epigenetic factors could indirectly contribute to increasing the risk and
susceptibility to caries. | en_US |
