Nivel de autoestima y calidad de vida en pacientes que acuden a la Unidad de Hemodiálisis del Hospital Antonio Lorena Cusco 2019

El presente estudio tuvo por objetivo determinar el “NIVEL DE AUTOESTIMA Y
CALIDAD DE VIDA EN PACIENTES QUE ACUDEN A LA UNIDAD DE
HEMODIÁLISIS DEL HOSPITAL ANTONIO LORENA CUSCO 2019”. La
metodología tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo de nivel descriptivo con diseño no
experimental y transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 42 pacientes que
recibieron tratamiento en esta unidad. Para evaluar el nivel de autoestima se
aplicó el cuestionario de Autoestima de Rosemberg y para estimar la Calidad de
vida se usó el Cuestionario SF-36. Del análisis estadístico se obtuvo: 46,7% de
pacientes tienen más de 60 años, 56,7% son mujeres y 93,3% proceden de la
ciudad del Cusco, además 56,7% de estos pacientes recibieron hemodiálisis
menos de un año, 46,7% son casados y 40% cuentan con secundaria completa.
Las dimensiones que midieron la calidad de vida señalan que 73,3% de los
pacientes calificaron tanto su salud general como su función y rol físico como
malo, las dimensiones emocional y vitalidad también indican una mala calidad
de vida en el 66,7% de los pacientes, además 56,7% de los pacientes posee una
función física, social y dolor corporal mala y una salud mental regular en el 50%
de los pacientes; concluyendo que además de que 50% de los pacientes tienen
una autoestima baja, cuentan también con una mala calidad de vida en la
mayoría de los casos; infiriendo que estos factores inciden de manera negativa
en la recuperación de los pacientes, además de influir en la continuidad de sus
tratamientos y la prolongación de los mismos. The present study aimed to determine the “LEVEL OF SELF-ESTEEM AND
QUALITY OF LIFE IN PATIENTS WHO GO TO THE HEMODIALYSIS UNIT AT
HOSPITAL ANTONIO LORENA CUSCO 2019“. The methodology had a
descriptive-level quantitative approach with a non-experimental and crosssectional
design.
The
sample
consisted
of

who
received
treatment
in
this
unit. To assess the level of self-esteem, the Rosemberg Self-esteem
questionnaire was applied and the SF-36 Questionnaire was used to estimate the
Quality of Life. From the statistical analysis it was obtained: 46.7% of patients are
over 60 years old, 56.7% are women and 93.3% come from the city of Cusco, in
addition 56.7% of these patients received hemodialysis for less than a year 46.7%
are married and 40% have completed high school. The dimensions that
measured quality of life indicate that 73.3% of the patients rated their general
