The present investigation “ANALYSIS OF THE MECHANICAL BEHAVIOR OF A CONVENTIONAL ASPHALT MIXTURE OPPOSITE AN ADDITIONAL ASPHALT MIXTURE WITH RECYCLED CRUSHED PLASTIC BOTTLES (BPTR) AND RECYCLED TIRE GRAINS (GNR) , WITH AGGREGATES FROM THE CUSCO REGION“ has as main objective to analyze comparatively the mechanical behavior and the resistance to permanent deformation of a conventional asphalt mixture opposite an asphalt mixture added with recycled crushed plastic bottles (BPTR) and recycled tire grains (GNR) using aggregates and asphalt cement (PEN 120/150) from the COPESCO asphalt plant in the Cusco region. The work carried out in the laboratory consists of quality controls of aggregates, asphalt cement, BPTR, GNR and compacted asphalt mixtures by means of quality testing regulated by the EG2013 de la MTC and CE.010 Pavimentos urbanos del RNE. In addition, the design of the conventional asphalt mixture was carried out, elaboration and testing of stability and flow Marshall considering 7 percentages of asphalt cement (4%,4.5%,5%,6%,6% and 7%) in order to determine an optimal content of asphalt cement for later by the same procedure to determine the optimal percentage of addition of BPTR and GNR considering 7 percentages of addition (0.20%,0.50%,0.80%,1.00%,1.40%,1.70% and 2.00%) taking into account the same optimal asphalt cement content of the conventional asphalt mixture. Then, depending on the optimal percentages of each asphalt mixture (Conventional and added with BPTR and GNR) are subjected to tests of resistance to damage induced by moisture and resistance to permanent deformation. Finally, it was concluded that the asphalt mixture added with BPTR and GNR presents improvements in mechanical properties and resistance to permanent deformation against the conventional asphalt mixture, also complies with all the parameters established in EG-2013 and CE.010.en_US
