dc.description.abstractObjetivo: Identificar el perfil epidemiológico y clínico en estudiantes del Glorioso Colegio Nacional de Ciencias Cusco 2018. Método: tipo de estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo y transversal que consideró a la población y muestra del estudio al total de estudiantes infectados con parotiditis en suma de 81 casos, de la I.E. Ciencias 2018 de los cuales se evaluó sus fichas clínicas. Resultados: En cuanto al perfil epidemiológico que presentan los estudiantes contagiados con Parotiditis del Glorioso Colegio Nacional de Ciencias se pudo identificar qué. el 32.1% provienen del distrito de Santiago, 54.3% utilizan carro de transporte público, 35.8% viven a más de 30 minutos del colegio, 37% tienen 16 años, el ingreso mensual familiar 44.4% es de S/.1100 a S/.1499, 39.5% de los estudiantes tuvieron el posible contagio en los meses de octubre a diciembre, 49.4% del total de la tasa de incidencia se presentó entre el 3º a 4º de secundaria. En relación al perfil clínico que presentaron los estudiantes con Parotiditis del Glorioso Colegio Nacional de Ciencias se llegó a la conclusión de que: 69.1% no tiene una buena técnica al aplicar la etiqueta respiratoria, 75.3% no usaron mascarillas, el 71.6% práctica el lavado de manos; 81.5% recibieron la vacuna SPR sólo en campaña de salud, 72.8% indica que se contagió en el colegio; en relación a los síntomas 77.8% presentó fiebre, 59.3% malestar general, 23.5% dolor de cabeza, 6.2% artralgia y 14.8% mialgia; los signos presentados fueron; 72.8% xerosis, 69.1% hinchazón de parótida lateral, 25.9% hinchazón de parótida bilateral, 14.8% rinorrea, 9.9% amigdalitis, 4.9% tos; un 75.3% se atendieron en el Centro de salud; 87.7% recibieron tratamiento médico, y el 19.8% tuvo orquitis como complicaciones.es_PE
