caliente tradicional. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | The following thesis project has as purpose to achieve a comparative analysis of the stability,

This
comparative
analysis
of the physical and mechanical properties was made using “The Asphalt Institute
Method” to obtain the optimum content of asphalt, which was 5.6%, applying the “Marshall
Method” by means of the specimen’s evaluation, afterwards the optimum glass content was
obtained, using specimens with 5%, 8%, 10%, 12% and 15% of substituted glass. Obtaining an
optimal percentage of substitution in aggregate weight by recycled glass of 15%. When
comparing the optimal asphalt mixtures; the following conclusion was reached: The modified
hot-mix asphalt with the optimum substitution percentage provides better physical and
mechanical properties than traditional hot-mix asphalt. | en_US |
