Análisis de la seguridad vial en el tramo conformado por la Av. Abancay, Av. De la Raza, Av. Humberto Vidal Unda y Av. Tomasa Tito Condemayta usando el método del manual de seguridad vial peruano msv-2017

Abstract

La presente tesis tiene como objetivo analizar la seguridad vial de un tramo de vía urbana; el cual está conformado por una serie de avenidas e intersecciones. Así de esta manera se plantea medidas mitigadoras que mejoren la seguridad vial para todos los usuarios. En esta investigación se utilizó el MANUAL DE SEGURIDAD VIAL 2017, en el cual se establecen medidas que deben cumplir todas vías en fase de proyecto, ejecución y servicio. La investigación está conformada por 5 capítulos más el glosario, conclusiones, recomendaciones, bibliografías y anexos. En el primer capítulo se describe la situación actual de las avenidas: Abancay, De la Raza, Humberto Vidal Unda y Tomasa Tito Condemayta. También se detalla la situación actual de las dos intersecciones semaforizadas existente; “Arcopata” y “Tica Tica”. También se explican generalidades de la tesis y se establecen los problemas y objetivos. En el segundo capítulo se realiza la investigación teórica, donde recolectamos textos, conceptos o descripciones de diferentes autores. En el tercer capítulo se explica la metodología que usamos, se definen las herramientas y los procedimientos que realizamos para nuestra recolección de datos. En el cuarto capítulo procesamos la información que obtuvimos en el tercer capítulo y realizamos la parte más importante que viene a ser la inspección de nuestra vía urbana e intersecciones semaforizadas usando las fichas de chequeo del Manual de Seguridad Vial 2017. En el quinto capítulo se establecen medidas mitigadoras que ayuden a mejorar la seguridad vial. Se le da soluciones a cada deficiencia, en este capítulo se realiza la propuesta detallada que incluye de manera relevante a la recategorización y señalización de la vía urbana. Al finalizar la investigación se llegó a la conclusión que todas las medidas planteadas mitigan los problemas existentes de la vía urbana estudiada de la manera más coherente y efectiva.

The present thesis objective is to analyze the road safety of a section of urban road; which is made up of a series of avenues and intersections. In this way, mitigating measures are proposed to improve road safety for all users. In this research, the ROAD SAFETY MANUAL 2017 was used, which establishes the measures that all roads must comply with in the project, execution and service phases. The research is made up of 5 chapters plus the glossary, conclusions, recommendations, bibliographies and annexes. The first chapter describes the current situation of the avenues: Abancay, De la Raza, Humberto Vidal Unda and Tomasa Tito Condemayta. Also describes the current situation of the two existing signalized intersections; “Arcopata“ and “Tica Tica“. Generalities of the thesis are also explained and the problems and objectives are established. In the second chapter, the theoretical research is realized, where we collect texts, concepts or descriptions from different authors. The third chapter explains the methodology we used; the tools and procedures that we realize for our data collection are defined. In the fourth chapter, we process the information we obtained in the third chapter and we realized the most important part, which is the inspection of our urban road and traffic light intersections using the check sheets of the 2017 Road Safety Manual. In the fifth chapter, mitigating measures are established to help improve road safety. Solutions are given to each deficiency, in this chapter the detailed proposal is made that includes in a relevant way the recategorization and signaling of the urban road. At the end of the investigation, it was concluded that all the proposed measures mitigate the existing problems of the urban road studied in the most coherent and effective way.
