Lactancia materna y su relación con el crecimiento en niños menores de 1 año en el Centro de Salud de Buena Vista, Cusco - 2019

Abstract

La presente investigación intitulada. “LACTANCIA MATERNA Y SU RELACIÓN CON EL CRECIMIENTO EN NIÑOS MENORES DE 1 AÑO EN EL CENTRO DE SALUD DE BUENA VISTA, CUSCO - 2019.”. Tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre lactancia materna y el crecimiento en niños menores de 1 año en el Centro de Salud de Buena Vista, Cusco – 2019. el diseño metodológico fue descriptivo, transversal y correlacional el muestreo fue no probabilística con conveniencia. En cuanto a las características generales de las madres de niños menores de 1 año se obtuvo que el 53.8% tiene de 20 – 30 años de edad, 75.0% tienen ingresos menores a 850 soles, 50.0% son amas de casa, 69.2% tienen estudios secundarios. Respecto a las características generales de los niños menores de 1 año se tiene que el 36.3% tienen de 9 a 12 meses de edad, 55.0% son de sexo masculino y 63.8% tuvieron un peso de 2500 – 3000 gr al nacer. En cuanto a la lactancia materna se tiene que 87.5% de las madres luce saludable, 56.3% de los infantes luce saludable, 61.5% no tiene un aspecto del seno materno recomendado, 62.5% de las madres no tienen la limpieza del pesos recomendado, 52.5% de las madres tienen una posición adecuado, 73.7% tiene una posición no recomendada al momento de amantar, el 58.8% tiene un agarre al pecho materno recomendado, 51.3% tiene una succión adecuado al momento de lactar, 76.2% de las madres presenta un vínculo adecuado con su hijo, 53.7% realiza acciones recomendadas al término de la sesión de lactancia materna. en conclusión se obtuvo que el 53.7% tiene un lactancia materna adecuada, 46.3% inadecuada. Respecto al crecimiento del niño en cuanto al peso para la talla el 45,0% de los niños se halló con normalidad, 68.8% los niños se halló con normalidad de talla para la edad y 88,8% tiene un resultado de normalidad de peso para la edad. En conclusión se tienen que 67.5% tiene un crecimiento adecuado y 32.5% inadecuado. Se acepta la hipótesis alternativa donde existe un grado de relación significativa con un p=0.002.
