dc.description.abstractLa investigación tiene por objetivo determinar los niveles de violencia simbólica según las formas de manifestación y las características de los estudiantes, así como también describir los sentimientos y percepciones de los mismos frente a las manifestaciones de la violencia simbólica en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Andina del Cusco, 2018. La metodología: es un estudio de tipo descriptivo, exploratorio, enfoque mixto, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal, las técnicas aplicadas fueron la encuesta y la entrevista, mientras que los instrumentos usados fueron: el cuestionario de afirmaciones en la escala de Likert y la entrevista semiestructurada. El muestreo es de tipo no probabilístico, intencional, en la que participaron 133 estudiantes de las diferentes Escuelas Profesionales para la parte cuantitativa, mientras que para la parte cualitativa se seleccionaron 15 estudiantes por conveniencia. Los resultados: Todas las formas de manifestación de violencia simbólica se encuentran en el nivel medio (48,1%), dentro de las cuales las manifestaciones de asociación de pertenencia (57,9%) y verbales (51,9%) son las más frecuentes. La Escuela Profesional con nivel alto de violencia simbólica fue Tecnología médica (2,3%), seguida por Medicina humana (16,5%) y Obstetricia (6%), las que tienen una tendencia de un nivel medio al alto en comparación a las demás Escuelas Profesionales, cuyo nivel de presentación tiende a ser de medio a bajo. De acuerdo al sexo, el nivel de violencia simbólica es más alto en los varones (54,2%) con respecto a las mujeres (44,7%) y por último, según la edad, se observa que el nivel de violencia simbólica es más alto en los estudiantes de 16 a 21 años (30,8%), seguido de los de 22 a 27 años (13,5%). Con relación a los sentimientos frente a las manifestaciones de violencia simbólica, se identificó los siguientes: la tristeza, impotencia, decepción, cólera e indiferencia principalmente. Y de acuerdo a la percepción de violencia simbólica dentro del entorno universitario, se expresó que existe violencia simbólica, pero que en ocasiones no son reconocidas por la víctima, ni por el agresor.es_PE
dc.description.abstractThe objective of the research is to determine the levels of symbolic violence according to the forms of manifestation and the characteristics of the students, as well as to describe their feelings and perceptions regarding the manifestations of symbolic violence in the Faculty of Health Sciences. from the Universidad Andina del Cusco, 2018. The methodology: is a descriptive, exploratory, mixed approach, non-experimental, crosssectional design, the techniques applied were the survey and the interview, while the instruments used were: the statement questionnaire on the Likert scale and the semistructured interview. The sampling is of a non-probabilistic, intentional type, in which 133 students from the different Professional Schools participated for the quantitative part, while for the qualitative part, 15 students were selected for convenience. The results: All forms of manifestation of symbolic violence are found at the medium level (48.1%), within which the manifestations of membership association (57.9%) and verbal (51.9%) are the more frequent. The Professional School with a high level of symbolic violence was Medical Technology (2.3%), followed by Human Medicine (16.5%) and Obstetrics (6%), which have a tendency from a medium to high level compared to the other Professional Schools, whose level of presentation tends to be medium to low. According to sex, the level of symbolic violence is higher in men (54.2%) compared to women (44.7%) and finally, according to age, it is observed that the level of symbolic violence is highest in students from 16 to 21 years old (30.8%), followed by those from 22 to 27 years old (13.5%). In relation to the feelings against the manifestations of symbolic violence, the following were identified: sadness, helplessness, disappointment, anger and indifference mainly. And according to the perception of symbolic violence within the university environment, it was expressed that there is symbolic violence, but that sometimes they are not recognized by the victim, nor by the aggressor.en_US
