La concentración de medios de comunicación y la afectación al derecho a la pluralidad informativa en Perú

El derecho a la pluralidad informativa y la concentración de medios de comunicación tienen una
estrecha y directa relación, a la que no se le ha tomado con la importancia debida y ha pasado
desapercibida por la legislación como por el colectivo intelectual y ciudadano.
La pluralidad informativa por su transversalidad e influencia a toda actividad humana representa
un derecho fundamental que en la actualidad colisiona por la aparente concentración de medios de
comunicación en sus diferentes formas: económica, geográfica, cultural y de contenido.
Por lo que en el presente trabajo se adentra en conceptos propios del derecho a la información y
derechos conexos con sus respectivos alcances, frente al fenómeno de los medios de comunicación
en sus formas clásicas de televisión, radio y prensa escrita.
Así mismo el propósito de la investigación es establecer sí en Perú hay concentración de medios
de comunicación y sí esta es perjudicial para garantizar el derecho a la pluralidad de información.
Para tal fin se usa la literatura existente en el medio como se recoge información de entrevistas de
conocedores de la materia constitucional como de los medios masivos de comunicación, además
se aplica encuestas de preguntas cerradas y abiertas que dilucidan sí existe la concentración, sí la
misma es dañina y sí hay vías que amengüen y disminuyan el impacto negativo de la
concentración. El derecho a la pluralidad informativa y la concentración de medios de comunicación tienen una
