Características socioculturales relacionados al abandono de la lactancia materna exclusiva en madres que acuden al Centro de Salud San Sebastian, Cusco-2019

Abstract

La presente investigación intitulada: “CARACTERÍSTICAS SOCIOCULTURALES RELACIONADOS AL ABANDONO DE LA LACTANCIA MATERNA EXCLUSIVA EN MADRES QUE ACUDEN AL CENTRO DE SALUD SAN SEBASTIAN, CUSCO-2019”, tuvo como objetivo: Determinar las características socioculturales relacionadas al abandono de la lactancia materna exclusiva. La metodología fue de tipo descriptivo, correlacional de corte transversal en una muestra probabilística de 110 madres que cumplían criterios de inclusión. Resultados, el 47.3% abandonaron la lactancia a los 5 meses, 45.5% (p=0.159) tienen edades de 23-26 años, 83.6% (p=0.208) convivientes, 53.6% (p=0.004) con 2 a 3 hijos, 68.2% (p=0.137) tienen procedencia urbana, 56.4% (p=0.382) con instrucción secundaria, 53.6% (p=0.014) ama de casa, 60.9% (p=0.006) hablan quechua y castellano, 50.9% (p=0.244) tiene ingreso de 400 a 700 soles, 72.7% (p=0.478) conocen la importancia de la lactancia materna, 60% (p=0.218) consumen alimentos caseros, 52.7% (p=0.002) tuvieron otros motivos para el abandono, 36.4% (p=0.003) indica que él bebe se antoja, 39.1% (p=0.006) indican otros familiares motivaron el abandono, 61.8% (p=0.000) brindaron lactancia mixta antes de los 6 meses, 70.9% (p=0.121) indican la hospitalización o trabajo no justifica el abandono, 43.6% (p=0.191) indican puede ser que la anemia sea motivo para el abandono, 40.9% (p=0.454) indican la diarrea no es motivo para el abandono, 53.6% (p=0.401) indica las infecciones respiratorias no son motivo para el abandono, 35.5% (p=0.336) indican puede ser que la depresión sea motivo para el abandono.
