Abstract
En la siguiente investigación se estudia la “Variación Del Nivel De Servicio Que Presentan
Las Vías Correspondientes Al Perímetro Del Mercado Vinocanchón – San Jerónimo – Cusco
En Días Laborables, No Laborables, Festivos Y Propuestas De Mitigación”.
Para determinar los niveles de servicio en las diferentes vías del perímetro del mercado
Vinocanchón, se realiza un análisis de las intersecciones existentes en dicho perímetro
siguiendo los procedimientos estandarizados por el HIGHWAY CAPACITY MANUAL 2010
(HCM 2010), ya que, según este manual, en vías urbanas no semaforizadas el estudio del
Nivel de Servicio se analiza en intersecciones.
Asimismo, para el desarrollo del análisis de los niveles de servicio, se realiza la recolección
de data, donde primero se toma un aforo de 12 horas por día en cada tipo de día (días
laborables, no laborables y festivos) y un aforo de 2 horas (horas de máxima demanda
vehicular) por día durante 4 días en los días laborables, 2 días en los días no laborables y 1 día
en los días festivos. Agregado a esta recolección de data, se realiza el replanteo de medidas en
el plano catastro.
Como resultado de esta investigación se tiene que las vías del perímetro del mercado
Vinocanchón varían en su nivel de servicio por cada tipo de día (días laborables, no
laborables y festivos), llegando hasta el nivel de servicio “F” en algunas vías, afectando así a
los usuarios que son los vehículos que transitan sobre estas. Debido a estos resultados se
proponen alternativas de mitigación a las demoras generadas por el incremento vehicular en
los tipos de días, ya que se requieren cambios que aprovechen de mejor manera las
condiciones viales existentes para mitigar los conflictos vehiculares que están basados en la
falta de señalización y cultura vial. In the following investigation, we study the “Variation in the Level of Service that Presents
the Roads Corresponding to the Perimeter of the Vinocanchón Market - San Jerónimo - Cusco
in Working days, Non-Working Days, Holidays and Mitigation Proposals“.
To determine the levels of service in the different roads of the perimeter of the Vinocanchón
market, an analysis is made of the existing intersections in said perimeter following the
procedures standardized by the HIGHWAY CAPACITY MANUAL 2010 (HCM 2010),
since, according to this manual, in non-signalized urban roads, the study of the service level is
analyzed in intersections.
Likewise, for the development of the analysis of service levels, data collection is performed,

As a result of this investigation, the perimeter roads of the Vinocanchón market vary in their
level of service for each type of day (working days, non-working days and holidays), reaching
service level “F“ in some routes, affecting so to the users who are the vehicles that travel on
these. Due to these results, mitigation alternatives are proposed to the delays generated by the
vehicular increase in the types of days, since required changes that take better advantage of
the existing road conditions to mitigate the vehicular conflicts that are based on the lack of
signaling and road culture.
