dc.description.abstractSe estudió la inteligencia emocional en estudiantes víctimas de violencia familiar, con un diseño descriptivo comparativo y se trabajó con una población de 1,084 estudiantes (previamente identificados con una ficha de tamizaje VIF), todos ellos pertenecientes al nivel secundario de las instituciones educativas públicas del distrito de San Sebastián, obteniendo una muestra estratificada de 284 estudiantes. Se empleó como instrumento el inventario de inteligencia emocional BarOn ICE – NA (forma completa), adaptado por Nelly Ugarriza y Liz Pajares del Águila de 60 ítems. El objetivo fue describir y comparar la inteligencia emocional y cada uno de sus componentes, demostrando y concluyendo que la inteligencia emocional en estudiantes víctimas de violencia familiar, presentan en su mayoría un nivel adecuado o una capacidad emocional promedio, sin diferencias significativas, es decir que los estudiantes reflejan ser personas medianamente inteligentes emocionalmente, mostrando características personales para reconocer y expresar sus propios sentimientos, así como comprender los sentimientos de los demás, sin embargo presentan también dificultades relevantes al momento de controlar sus reacciones impulsivas, sin lograr frenar o contener sus emociones, lo cual les dificulta resolver ciertos problemas y afrontar algunas presiones del medio, principalmente por vivir en condiciones de violencia familiar.es_PE
dc.description.abstractEmotional intelligence was studied in students victims of family violence, with a comparative descriptive design and worked with a population of 1,084 students (previously identified with a VIF tab), all of them belonging to the secondary level of the public educational institutions of the district of San Sebastián, obtaining a stratified sample of 284 students. The emotional intelligence inventory BarOn ICE - NA (complete form) was adapted as an instrument, adapted by Nelly Ugarriza and Liz Pajares del Águila of 60 items. The objective was to describe and compare the emotional intelligence and each of its components, demonstrating and concluding that the emotional intelligence in students victims of family violence, most of them have an adequate level or an average emotional capacity, without significant differences, that is to say that students reflect being moderately intelligent people emotionally, showing personal characteristics to recognize and express their own feelings, as well as understand the feelings of others, however they also present relevant difficulties when controlling their impulsive reactions, without achieving restrain or contain their emotions , which makes it difficult for them to solve certain problems and face some environmental pressures, mainly due to living in conditions of family violence.en_US
