dc.description.abstractEl objetivo principal de la investigación es analizar el efecto del gasto público en el crecimiento económico en la región de Cusco, periodo 2008 – 2016. La evolución del gasto público (presupuesto institucional modificado) influye en el crecimiento económico de la región Cusco. El presupuesto acumulado de la región del Cusco entre el 2008 y 2016 fue S/ 59,357,720,728, los cuales estuvieron financiados con la fuente de recursos determinando con 43.8% y recursos ordinarios con 40%. Por otro lado, es necesario describir el destino de los recursos públicos de los distintos niveles de gobierno (nacional, regional y local), entonces, los sectores económicos priorizados son trasporte y comunicación; y educación, cultura y deporte con una participación de 24.3% y 21.4 %, respectivamente. La evidencia empírica muestra que el gasto público tiene efecto positivo en la actividad económica en la región de Cusco. Esto implica que, La elasticidad del producto bruto interno con respecto al gasto público según el modelo econométrico, sugiere que si el gasto público se incrementa en 100 por ciento, el producto bruto interno aumentara en 7.8 por ciento. Del mismo modo, un incremento de un 100 por ciento del producto bruto interno rezagado, aumentara en 84.8 por ciento el producto bruto interno.es_PE
dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this work is to analyze the effect of public spending on economic growth in the region of Cusco, period 2008 - 2016. The evolution of the modified institutional budget (PIM) from 2008 to 2013 had a growing current, except for the year 2011 that there was a decrease, and therefore, 2013 reached a maximum amount of S /. 8,679,085,831. As of 2014, the PIM began to decrease until reaching the amount of S /. 7,084,238,585 in 2016. The cumulative budget of the Cusco region between 2008 and 2016 was S / 59,357,720,728, those financed with the source of resources determined 43.8% and ordinary resources with 40%. On the other hand, it is necessary to describe the destination of public resources of the different levels of government (national, regional and local), then, the prioritized economic sectors are transport and communication; and education, culture and sports with participation of 24.3% and 21.4% Empirical evidence shows that public spending has a positive effect on economic activity in the Cusco region. This implies that, the elasticity of the gross domestic product with respect to public expenditure according to the economic model, suggests that public spending increases by 100 percent, the gross domestic product does not increase by 7.8 percent. Likewise, an increase of 100 percent of the lagged gross domestic product will increase the gross domestic product by 84.8 percent.en_US
