Estado nutricional en niños que acuden a La Institución Educativa Inicial Techo Obrero Nº 559 en Sicuani, Canchis - Cusco. 2016.

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación cuyo objetivo fue determinar el Estado Nutricional en niños que acuden a la Institución Educativa Inicial Techo Obrero Nº 559 Sicuani, Canchis – Cusco, durante el año 2016. El diseño metodológico utilizado fue descriptivo y transversal; la muestra fue de 120 niños que acuden a la Institución Educativa Inicial Techo Obrero. La técnica utilizada fue la entrevista y el instrumento, la encuesta. Las características generales de los niños que asisten a la Institución Educativa se presentan de la siguiente manera; 45,3% tienen cuatro años de edad; 60% son de sexo femenino; 51,5% de las madres son mayores de 31 años; 50% de las familias tienen en promedio de 2 hijos; 63,5% de madres tienen como grado de instrucción la educación secundaria; 64,5% se dedican a trabajos independientes; 59,3% tienen un ingreso económico mensual entre 500 a 1000 soles; 86% de niños tuvieron un peso al nacer entre 2500 gr a 3500 gr. En cuanto al Estado Nutricional vemos que 89,8% de los niños tienen un peso normal para la edad; 91% tienen el peso normal para la talla, y 80,5% de los niños tienen la talla normal para la edad. Según el Índice de Masa Corporal (IMC) de los niños en la edad de 5 años; 80,7% se hallan con un valor normal.

The former investigation work, wich had as an objective determining the nutritional status on children that attend to “la institution educational initial Techo Obrero Nº 559 Sicuani, Canchis – Cusco” during the year 2016. The methodological design used was descriptive and transversely; the sample was form for 120 children that attend to Techo Obrero Pre-school Institution. The technique used was the interview and the instrument, the poll. The attending children general characteristics present in the following way, 45.3% are 4 years old, 60% are female, 51.5% of the mothers are older than 31 years old, 50% of the families has 2 children, 63.5 of the mothers has as their educational level the high school. 64.5% dedicate to independent Jobs, 59.3% have a monthly income about 500 – 1000 suns, 86% of the children was born with a weight around 2500 gr and 3500 gr. Respect to the nutritional state, we see that 89.8% of the children have a normal weight for their age, 91% have a normal weight for the height, and 80.5% of the children have a normal height for the age. According to the body mass index (BMI) of the children in the age of 5 years old, 80.7% have a normal value.
