Los atractivos coloniales del barrio tradicional de Santa Ana y su repercusión en la demanda turística, Cusco 2017.

Abstract

La historia del barrio de Santa Ana es una de las más fascinantes de la ciudad. Situada al noroeste de la ciudad, es el barrio más antiguo del Cusco y con mayor vestigio Histórico. De acuerdo al pasar de los años, el barrio tradicional de Santa Ana, ha ido aumentado su flujo turístico, todo esto debido a la gran importancia histórica con la que cuenta, contando con todos los atractivos coloniales que son muy interesantes para la visita turística, sin embargo no están siendo difundidas adecuadamente. Una de las preguntas que uno se suele formular, es porque el barrio tradicional de Santa Ana no se ha integrado aún del todo a los atractivos turísticos de la ciudad del Cusco, teniendo la tradición histórica más antigua de la ciudad, ya que se sabe que a través de ella ingresaron los conquistadores españoles, bajando por la calle Conquista y Tambo de Montero. El objetivo general para la elaboración del presente trabajo es determinar la repercusión de los atractivos coloniales del barrio tradicional de Santa en la demanda turística. La metodología utilizada para la realización el presente trabajo de investigación es de tipo descriptivo, por que detalla el comportamiento social, cultural y sus manifestaciones en diferentes tiempos, el diseño no experimental debido a que se realiza las investigaciones sin manipular deliberadamente ninguna de las variables y se basa en la observación de fenómenos ocurridos en su contexto real, lo que son insumos para su posterior análisis y se pueden generar correctivos adecuados. En las conclusiones se ha determinado que el barrio tradicional de Santa Ana tiene el valor histórico lo cual es reflejado en su valioso vestigio cultural, artístico y patrimonial; todo esto son potenciales razones para ser considerado como un potencial atractivo turístico cultural para el desarrollo de la actividad turística.

The history of the neighborhood of Santa Ana is one of the most fascinating in the city. Located in the northwest of the city, Santa Ana is the oldest district of Cusco with an important historical heritage. Despite possessing numerous Colonial monuments, which could become tourist attractions, the neighborhood of Santa Ana does not have the tourist flow that it deserves. One of the questions usually formulated in regards to Santa Ana is, why is this neighborhood not integrated in the tourist trail of Cusco? This is rather surprising, given that Santa Ana has the oldest historical traditions of the city, as this is where the Spanish conquerors entered, through what are now the streets of Conquista and Tambo de Montero. The main objective of this research is to determine the impact on touristic demand created by the colonial attractions in the neighborhood of Santa Ana. The employed methodology in this investigation is a descriptive one, one which details the social and cultural behavior in different times. The non-experimental design research has been selected to avoid deliberately manipulating any of the variables and is based on close and careful observation of different phenomena in context. These are inputs for later analysis and can generate adequate corrective maintenance of the colonial attractions. The research concludes that the traditional neighborhood of Santa Ana has a historical value reflected in its invaluable cultural, artistic and patrimonial heritage. All of which are potential reasons for the neighborhood to be considered a cultural touristic attraction for the development of touristic activity.
