Prototipo operacional del registro de atención de los pacientes por accidentes de tránsito en el Hospital Antonio Lorena del Cusco, utilizando la metodología de desarrollo de sistemas dinámicos.

Abstract

En el Hospital Antonio Lorena del Cusco, en el Área Administrativa se realiza el proceso “REGISTRO DE PACIENTES POR ACCIDENTES DE TRANSITO”, se efectúa el registro en los llamados expedientes de forma manual para los pacientes que ingresaron al hospital únicamente por causa de un accidente de tránsito, éste registro debe ser efectuado y entregado a los tres (3) días que el paciente es dado de alta por las siguientes condiciones: alta por indicación, alta por voluntad o contra indicación médica, fuga o referencia, en caso de fallecimiento se procede al registro del expediente para los cobros correspondientes a las aseguradoras, sin embargo también existen requerimientos indispensables para que proceda el registro los cuales son: la póliza de seguro, la denuncia policial, la tarjeta de propiedad y el dosaje etílico. El responsable debe llenar las diferentes planillas que son Hoja Unificada de Filiación (H.U.F), Hoja de Liquidación de Servicios y Procedimientos (H.L.S.P.M), Hoja de Epicrisis, Hoja de Liquidación de Exámenes de Apoyo al Diagnóstico (H.L.E.A.D), se observó que algunos datos no son cambiados en su totalidad ya que se utiliza el expediente de algún paciente registrado anteriormente lo cual provoca la revisión constante del nuevo expediente, también se ingresan datos redundantes como es el nombre, el numero H.U.F. del paciente, fecha y hora de ingreso y egreso, también debe esperar datos de las diferentes áreas del hospital como son de Rayos X, Sala de Operaciones, laboratorio, informe de Cardiología y Radiología, una vez terminado el registro del expediente estos son enviados al área de contabilidad para el respectivo cobro a las distintas aseguradoras.

Para la solución de estas inconsistencias de información, se escogió trabajar con metodologías ágiles de desarrollo de software debido a la necesidad de tiempo, costo y urgencia en mejorar la labor de los encargados del área escogida, gracias a este tipo de metodología se desarrolla y se hace entrega de diversos prototipos operacionales los cuales son revisados y usados por el responsable, de esta manera se determinó si existe algún tipo de fallas o incomodidad en el uso del prototipo para su mejora o continuar con la elaboración de la próxima versión del prototipo, esto se puede lograr gracias a que el uso de las metodologías ágiles permiten aumentar, quitar o cambiar los requerimientos constantemente según surjan de las necesidades del usuario. El prototipo operacional es desarrollado con el gestor de Base de Datos MySQL para el almacenamiento de la información del paciente, también se usa el lenguaje de programación Visual Basic 6.0 del entorno de desarrollo integrado de Visual Studio Community para el desarrollo de los formularios y la fácil administración para el usuario en el cual se incluyen accesos rápidos, búsquedas rápidas para los pacientes, respaldo de la información, actualización, modificación, eliminación y nuevos registros de pacientes, de igual forma se consideró el ingreso de usuario y contraseña para una mayor seguridad.

Resolving these inconsistencies of information, was chosen to work with agile development methodologies of software due to the need of time, cost and urgency in improving the work of the managers of the area chosen, thanks to this kind of methodology is developed and delivery of various prototypes was made operations which are reviewed and used by the controller, this way it was determined if there is any fault or inconvenience in the use of the prototype for their improvement or continue with the development of the next version of the prototype, this can be achieved thanks to the fact that the use of agile methodologies allowincrease, remove or constantly changing requirements as they arise from the needs of the user. The operational prototype is developed with the Manager's MySQL database for the storage of the patient, also the programming language Visual Basic 6.0 in Visual Studio Community integrated development environment is used for the development of forms and easy management for the user which includes shortcuts, quick searches for patients backup information, updating, modification, elimination and new records of patients, similarly was considered the entry of username and password for added security.
