La presente tesis intitulada: “LOS COSTOS DE PRODUCCIÓN DEL MAÍZ BLANCO GIGANTE Y LOS COPRODUCTOS PARA LA EXPANSIÓN AL COMERCIO INTERNACIONAL DE LA COOPERATIVA AGROINDUSTRIAL VALLE SAGRADO LTDA – CALCA, PERIODO 2015”.
This thesis named: “THE COSTS OF PRODUCTION OF WHITE MAIZE GIANT
AND BYPRODUCTS FOR THE EXPANSION OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE INTHE SACRED VALLEY COOPERATIVA AGROINDUSTRIAL LTDA - CALCA,PERIOD 2015“
The MBGC is one of the few products that are still leading the world market for its nutritional properties and may also serve as raw material or an input toproduce other goods for human and animal consumption that even in medicineand pharmaceutical chemistry, we also know that the Peruvian State hasalways supported but we would say partially, because although it is true toprovided substantial support in the technical support on all our product of theSacred Valley but has neglected the fundamental support of the export, in spiteof the fact that there is a project of the Sierra Exporter that in this specific casehas not supported almost nothing.
To us have been motivated to investigate a fundamental reason which refers tothe fact that we are concerned because we have through the years simplyexporting raw materials, i.e. we send the best of our production for that in thecountries of destination as industrialize and in many cases we returned asgoods with prices up to prohibitive and another reason if you want of asentimental nature Is that we have grown in the Sacred Valley of the Incas andwe are aware through the different generations that natural resources that offersus the nature for the exploitation of the soil and sub soil, unfortunately we seewith much sadness that each time our products are going to be relegated inwhat has quality refers to by that Many years ago we are not the first post andthat makes the farmer replace with other crops that are of lower investment andgreater profitability, to cite one example the aguaymanto, since in one squaremeter of land are harvested approximately produces six corn to a sun (S/.1.00)the average price in the same square meter occurs 18 to 20 aguaymantos Eachone costs 40 cents (S/.0.40) then six soles of maize and eight soles of
aguaymantos and in addition the aguaymanto produces twice a year. Anotherworrying thing is that by the presence of intermediaries or exporting traders they make mistakes as pay the production in advance, this fact makes that the farmer is no longer worry about the quality.
In the specific case of the cooperative AGROVAS, subject of the present investigation may not be far from reality, but we were able to observe the positive attitude that have their managers in maintaining the production of its traditionally white maize Giant In spite of all the difficulties they are facing, another strength that we found is that using their creativity, the benefits, benefits
and economic advantages that generates the elaboration of byproducts is a great idea.
As is normal not everything is perfect in this type of companies we have found some weaknesses and threats as is the determination of its costs of the process
of cultivation of maize is empirical and reaches distorted information generating
prejudice to both the cooperative and even more to their partners.
Finally, we have been able to conclude with set these deficiencies in addition to
the costs of the MBGC as well as the products and product of this research isprecisely to catch them a proposal for the establishment of costs of technical way, specialized and whose results we are confident will be beneficial and advantageous for all.
We hope that this small contribution will serve as a basis or reference for our colleagues in the future dig deeper on this very important subject.
